organization, or the ability to do this. It involves: Establishing a clear vision Sharing that vision with others so that they will

follow willingly Providing the information, knowledge, and

methods to realize that vision Coordinating and balancing the conflicting

interests of all members

Short Biography Born: 5 December 1901 Died: 5 December 1966 at age 65 He was an American film producer,

director, screenwriter, voice actor, animator, entrepreneur, entertainer, international icon, and philanthropist

He is mostly recognised for founding The Walt Disney Company, responsible for

producing the most well-known motion pictures in the

world

The company later went on

to create theme parks, based on the stories told by their pictures

Why Walt Disney? I chose Walt Disney as a leader because he was

an active man. He was not just an entrepreneur that put the money in and sat idle, watching.

As he said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”

He was a leader that deposited his dreams and hopes into his project with heart and soul. Walt Disney was a dreamer.

He never stopped trying out new things, creating new cartoons no matter how successful he was.

He saw the potential of a growing industry; he invested in a business which nobody had tried to develop before.

He was a visionary, he followed his dreams and pursued them through all opposition until his projects were completed.
