We never really had anyone to make sure that the rules were followed but if we could say that someone did try to enforce the rules it would be Wajahat. The best example of his role as the enforcer would have been during the incident with Kashif stealing food where he was able to recover what Kashif stole and make the entire incident appear as accident protecting Kashif as well.

Mosquito Netting

Sand on the island

Rocks

Page 15: Wakeege Island Powerpoint

First, we dug narrow, moderately deep holes within the sand thenput the mosquito netting inside the hole so our belongings will beseparate from the sand in the hole.

These holes were narrow enough to be covered by large heavyrocks to keep animals and other predators from getting inside them.

We also used our droppings to our advantage.

Page 16: Wakeege Island Powerpoint

We used them to fertilize and preserve some of the growth deep inside the forest and just wash off and crops which we picked with boiled water, to clean them.
