The Visual Art program is designed for the art student planning to transfer to a four-year institution and major in studio art, art education or art therapy.

The students that complete the program will be awarded with and Associate of Arts in Visual Arts.

Other Types of Visual arts can also include Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, and Decorative Design. Most all types of Design will need some background in the Visual Arts.

  To communicate ideas through media experienced by sight.

Requires strong background in the study of artistic principles, in addition to natural talent.

Might have to work as fine artists or in one of the commercial applied careers, such as graphic design, multimedia art, animation or art direction for print, film or television.
