Find some collaborators/co-operators who will work with you on this project. It’s hard work doing it all on your own.

Work together to see what you could do as a first step into virtual worlds.

See if you have enough internal resources or whether you need to bring in help from outside.

Make sure that your project is a good choice for developing into a virtual space – don’t fall into the trap of being in Second Life just for the sake of it.

Find a project from your curriculum that can be clearly linked back to learning outcomes – it will help you get support from sceptics if they can see clear links and benefits.
