How do we mitigate the experience of reality?• Narration (storytelling, reading engaging stories)

• Listening to an expert/lecturer talk about experience

• Watching TV shows & movies, especially engaging ones

• Educational games & gaming environments (e.g. SecondLife)

• Lab activities, case studies & other tightly scaffolded learning experiences

• Role plays, scenario-based learning, sandbox activities, remote equipment

• Augmented reality (like Aurasma - we demoed this at ETUG a while ago I think) includes geotagging, Google glass

• Virtual reality (simulators or immersive simulations)

• Practicums, preceptorships, Co-op placements

• Fully immersive environment (full-on reality)

Lots more apps coming this way• Here’s the link to the current list of apps for google cardboard:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/collection/promotion_3001011_cardboard_featured_apps?hl=en• … but check back often because this list is growing FAST• This is pretty good (not all frivolous games ;-)

http://www.wareable.com/google/the-best-google-cardboard-apps • You can explore Google Maps using Street View - feel like you’re

actually walking down that street. (Apparently there are some secret surprises hidden for VR explorers!)• Or… are you a ‘grow your own’ sort of user? Build your own 3D
