Step 1 Upload Video

Login to Blackboard

Click on Kaltura Media Tools

Click on My Media

Click on Add New and select media upload

Click on Choose a file to upload and select a file from your computer

Step 2 Update Settings/Details Fill in the details

Name Last, First – Student Teaching Event – Date

Description Full name of School Grade Level Subject - Lesson Topic Mentor Teacher – Name University Supervisor – Name

Select Tags student teaching video observation college of education

Click SAVE

Publish to the Gallery Click on Publish Select “College of Education – Video Gallery” Click Save and then Go to My Media

Step 3 Add Collaborators

Add Collaborators Click on EDIT. Click on Collaboration beneath the video. Click on Add Collaborator. Enter the last name of an individual who should have access to make comments on your video into the text box (University Supervisor, Mentor Teacher). You MUST also add M. Kathryn Brown Select Co-Editor, Co-Publisher and then Add. After you have added your collaborators, click on the title of the video to begin adding your reflections.

Step 4 Evaluation/Reflection

Adding Comments This step allows you to reflect how you are meeting the element in the DPAS II, either Teacher or Reading Specialist. Be sure to use the language in the element as you write/reflect. Reflect the degree to which you believe you met the element. TAG points in time from the video that support your conclusions (example shown to the right). Enter the video time for your comment. Type the DPAS II Element in all CAPS. Enter your response and relfection.
