Any change in the nature, purpose, quality or character of school education throws new demands on teacher education and reinforces the process of programme evaluation and re-adjustment especially in the area of curriculum reconstruction.

The developments in the application and dissemination of knowledge and information technology have been changing the demands in education. Teacher training is a crucial factor in meeting these demands with the reformation in instructions.

Objectives of the Study

To find out the Utilization of the Internet Technology by the teacher trainee’s of Namakkal District

To find out the Problems faced while using Internet Technology by the teacher trainee’s of Namakkal District

Hypothesis of the Study

There is no significant difference between the male and female teacher trainee’s with respect to their utilization of Internet technology.

There is no significant difference between the male and female teacher trainee’s with respect to their problems faced while in utilization of Internet technology.

The investigator has taken twenty-five male and twenty-five female (in total fifty) B.Ed students from SRP College of Education, Rasipuram, Namakkal District, affiliated under Teacher Education University, Chennai.

Results of the Study

Both the Male and Female trainee’s having the different level of awareness of Internet with respect to their utilization. (‘t’=6.982)

Like wise both of them significantly differ in their problems facing in using the Internet technology. (‘t’=8.331)

Knowledge management (km) became a hot learn late in the rise of dot com but seems to have out lashed their crash.

It facilitates the knowledge transfer; (i) Various aids to facilitate reading and writing

activities; (ii) Printing / photocopying for the mass

distribution of information; (iii)Radio and TV broadcasting for the global

dissemination of non-interactive, non-print material;

(iv)The use of computers for the realization of interactive information systems.

Improve the Quality of Learning• plan, prepare & design effective curriculum,

assessment of tools

• Effective use of ICT strategies & Motivate students.

• Identify the strengths & needs of individual students.

• Develop the strategies that will enable the students to use telecommunications to collaborate, publish and interact with peers, experts and other audiences.

• Enable the students to use technology to locate, evaluate from a variety of sources.

• Enable the students to employ technology in solving problems in the real world.

Conclusion• The teachers duty is less

• He will have to devote none time and energy to productive and creative activities such as interaction, discussion, stimulation, understanding and encouragement and to provide facilities for their all round development.

• There must be adequate number of computers made accessible to the students and teachers, in order for the work to be properly carried out.

• Training in this Net field should be provided to the teachers so that they can conduct these types of classes by using Educational Technology equipments.

• motivate the students in their learning process

• very active participants in their learning process

• “Good education requires good teachers” means that it becomes essential that the most capable and appropriate people be recruited into the teaching profession, provided with a high quality by:

& enhanced learning of ICT.• professional and continuous development • effective in-service and pre-service programme

in teacher education.
