Introduction
Have you ever wonder what this (‘) means?
Have you ever wonder what a contraction is?
What is a contraction?
A contraction is a word or phrase that's (or that has) been shortened by
dropping one or more letters.
In writing, an apostrophe takes the place
of the missing letters. Example:Do not = Don’t
Positive ContractionsShort Form Long Form

Negative Contraction
