Key Take AwaysUpgrading Has Never Been Easier

• SAP ERP 6.0 is the path to SAP’s Next Generation Solutions (SAP Business Suite,Memory, Cloud, Analytics). The four value areas for SAP ERP 6.0 including SAPenhancement packages are: Operational excellence, business flexibility, sustainabilityand TCO reduction

• Upgrade is not a myth anymore. Most customer start with a pure technical upgrade toreduce risk. An average upgrade project lasts 4 to 5 months and creates a businessdowntime between 1 and 2 days. Efficient testing and downtime minimization arekey challenges during an upgrade project.

• SAP Solution Manager is the platform to support upgrade projects effectively(e.g. upgrade management, test management, custom code management)

• SAP Enterprise Support provides a bundle of services to ensure knowledge transferand to facilitate upgrade projects: Services, Meet the expert sessions , Expert GuidedImplementations (EGI)
