Campaign Objectives
Glide’s objective: Making life easy for students to ‘glide’ through their university years
1.) To formulate a social web marketing campaign
2.) Drive traffic to Facebook page3.) Increase sales and ROI
Our target market
• Students
Our Campaign Idea: Glide Superheroes
• To create a new brand personality to convey Glide as fun, interactive ,young and helpful
• This brand personality will be consistently conveyed around all social media and glide promotional material
• If students have a brand personality to connect to they are more likely to purchase from company and a physical character to interact
Our brand ambassador
• We have chosen Super heroes, who will be dressed in blue, representing Glide colours
• We have chosen superheroes because they make things easier and are associated with helping people, which it was Glide aims to do by making bills easier
Driving traffic to the Facebook page
• We plan to achieve this through having physical superheroes in key student area’s such as on campus, city centre...• On the superhero will be a huge QR code on the costume that takes the student straight through to liking the Facebook page
Driving Sales
• Next to the superheroes there will be stands where people can sign up straight away
Superhero Game• This game links our traditional methods to
online interactivity • We have formulated a game around campus
to encourage interactivity, brand engagement • QR code on superhero around campus • The competition prize is 12 months free of
charge
Superhero Game• You scan the Superhero (QR code)• It takes you to the facebook page to like the page and then
proceeds to a location on Maps App where the second code is located.
• The second code leads to directions to the third and so forth • The QR codes will be situated across campus • When you scan the last QR code, you get a Voucher• The Voucher enters you in the main competition to win a
year free of utility bills (according to terms)• Every person that enters the competition gets a voucher
that entitles you to 3 months free of Glide charge when you sign 12 month agreement, generating extra revenue for Glide
Viral Marketing
• Will produce a viral marketing campaign to create physical campaign online
• Video shows a humour video of Superheroes gliding round the city, campus, helping people in everyday situations
• Testimonials • Link from the Facebook page to the video on

• Event at freshers week to further promote the campus and present the prize
