Sofia Eriksdotter Nordquist was born in Sweden on October 28m 1875. She immigrated to America and, as was the practice at the time by the immigration officials, had her named changed at Ellis Island to Sofia Erikson.

She married John Leonard Wredberg on September 30, 1899. In 1902, she gave birth to Erik Theodore. Her second child, Karl Leonard was born in 1904. Gramma Baer, Louise Malvina, was born on March 9, 1906. John Conrad (Coonie) was born in 1908.

Twin girls, Ruth and Esther, were born on August 10, 1910 and died on September 5, 1910.

Sofia died shortly thereafter on October 24, 1910. She is buried in the Old Swedish Cemetery in Worcester, MA.
