PIRACY IN BRUNEI

INTRODUCTION

• What is Piracy?– The deliberate infringement of

copyright on a commercial scale.

Who are involved in piracy? Dealer Seller Customer/Buyer

STEPS:

1. Questionnaire plan• We come up with questions related to

our topic.

2. Conduct our Survey• Location : UBD Library

3. Finalised findings• Accumulate the result and analysed it

on Excel

1. =COUNTIF(RANGE,CRITERIA)• Eg. To count the value of ‘Yes/No’

for question 1. =COUNTIF(D4:D53,"1")

2. =SUM(RANGE)• Eg. To calculate the total.

• As a conclusion, from what we had found out, majority of them supported piracy.

• The reason why, is that most of them find pirated products as cheap, accessible and have the same quality as the original product.

• However, some are against piracy. This is because it creates ethical issues

and it affected the original retailers’ status and credibility.
