PREFACE

How can something beautiful perish? Why can’t it just stay this way for a lifetime? Or forever? Keith asked himself.

Maybe, all good things never really last, maybe this world is just a cycle of pain and suffering with good things in the circle as its ecstasy so we’ll get hook to the

illusion of happiness not knowing we are dragging ourselves to more pain and more suffering. And the cycle goes on, pain and suffering then here comes

happiness not knowing we are pulled to more pain then here comes happiness again to keep us blinded and then pain.

But how can something beautiful be just an illusion? How can something perfect be destructive? How?

Keith found himself staring blankly at a dark and

empty room, feeling tired with all his emotions, shattered into tiny pieces with nothing left of him and dying because of the pain he is feeling.

In the dark room, he starts to see something, a light coming to him, a light approaching him. “Another happiness? Another reliever to the pain?” he thought.

As the light gets nearer he started to smile, he started to feel okay again, he found himself picking tiny pieces of his heart and putting it back together. “If the cycle is really true, I’m willing to get hurt again for another happiness, for another life, if this happiness will cause

pain again, I’ll take the risks, because I know this is the only way I can live. I have died to live and I’m willing to die again for this.”

As the light gets closer to him, it started to form

a figure. “An angel.” He said “I know I’ll be okay, I know I’ll live forever and never die again.”

Starting Over

You have given me hope for a better tomorrow like an angel guiding me out of my sorrow.

My fears I want to let go but can my past I forgo?

I ask you this as you have my heart

will you always be there so we may never part?

I don't have much to give

but I will give you my everyday to live.

I love life and what it has to give because through the depths of sorrow I have learnt to

live.

CHAPTER ONE

.

“Mr. Keith please sit beside Ms. Kathy, Okay students, your seatmate is your partner for this semester, and you will be doing your projects and activities together.” Their teacher explained.

“Hi I’m Kathy Gomez.” She greeted him, but Keith just looked at her and did not respond.

“I want you to make a DNA model, and this is your first activity with your partner.” Their teacher said.

After class Kathy talked to Keith

“Hey Keith! See you later 2pm at the park!” she said

“For what?” Asked Keith “We are going to make a DNA model remember?” she exclaimed.

“Oh that? I’ll just do it by myself, just pay for the expenses.” He said.

“But that’s unfair! I’ll see you later at the park 2pm no buts, no ifs! Bye see you!” she said.

And that is the day he met Kathy, the very first day of school during their ninth grade.

Keith decided to go to the park earlier than

expected. He waited for almost two hours, walking back and forth, until he lost his patience. He decided to do the activity by himself but suddenly he saw Kathy rushing towards him. Kathy looked tired and sweat are falling all over her face.

“I’m sorry, I forgot that we have an activity today” Allie said.

Keith just passed by Kathy without even listening to her reasons. Keith went home and do his own DNA model, while Kathy also made a DNA model hoping that Keith will forgive her.

It was a very great morning for Kathy, she left their home early with the DNA model in her hands, hoping that if Keith sees the model he would forgive her. Passing by the neighbourhood, she saw Keith sitting

under a tree, playing a guitar. Looking at a distance, she suddenly felt something different, the cold breeze crawling on her skin, things around her suddenly slows down and birds sing sweetly. She realize that she was smiling while looking at Keith. Then the school bell rang waking her up from the weird feeling.

“Okay class, let’s start the presentation.” Their professor said.

Kathy started to feel nervous because Keith is not yet around, she know that Keith would never skip class.

“The next pair to show their Model will be Keith and Kathy" their professor said.

Kathy was really nervous, so she decided to stood up and start the presentation without Keith. When

she was about to start the presentation, somebody knocked on the door, and it was Keith holding a DNA model which is much better than hers. They started the presentation using Keith’s model, she felt sad because she thought Keith will not appreciate the model she made and will not really forgive her.

After class, Kathy looked for Keith to apologize about what happened yesterday, he saw Keith resting under a tree then she sat down beside him.

“I’m sorry about what happened yesterday, I hope you forgive me” she said.

Keith just stared at Kathy, then he burst in to laughter. Kathy was clueless about Keith’s reaction.

“Why are you laughing? Is there something funny?” she asked.

“Do you really think I’m mad at you? I’m not mad Kathy, and I prefer to do things alone, that thing yesterday it’s nothing to me.” Keith said while laughing.

“So I think we’re cool now huh?” asked Kathy.

“Yes, definitely.” Replied Keith.

“Give me your number so next time I can inform you if I’m going to be late.” Kathy said

Then they exchanged numbers

“See you around! And next time, do not be late!” Keith said while walking away from Kathy.

Kathy decided to go home. Kathy lives a simple

life, living in a simple house, they are not rich nor poor, just a middle class family. She lives with her mother and her brother, who is known in their neighbourhood as a rockstar. She never saw her father, he left them when Kathy was just a one month old baby. But despite of that, Kathy grew up and was raised well by her mother,

she grew up to be an optimistic and a jolly person and

she does not hate his father for leaving them, even though problems arise, their family stays strong and helping each other to cope up and do something to solve the problem. Her inspiration in studying is her family and her dream of becoming an Engineer, she goes to school at day time and works at night as a waitress at a

local restaurant bar but her mother does not know about this, all she know is Kathy works as a saleslady in a small department store. She helps her mother with the financial loads because her mother cannot provide all their needs, her mother works as a janitor in company

and her brother also made money out of gigs their band have.

Every time Kathy went home, she never forget to write something in her diary.

It has been a blessed day for me and my family and I’m also glad that Keith is not really mad at me. I

found that guy mysterious and cute. He is a serious guy,

I hope we can be friends so I can get to know him better. I thought he was a jerk but he is not, he’s a good guy.

It was a wonderful morning for Kathy. She was excited to go to school. While she is on her way, she decided to go to the near coffee shop to have some breakfast. She enters in the coffee shop she saw Keith buying a coffee,

"What are you doing here?" Keith said.

“I forgot to eat my breakfast so I decided to buy some food" she said.

They walked together to school. They start chatting and asking some stuff, Kathy felt comfortable being with and talking with Keith. The school bell rings. "

Let's go now" Kathy said.

She accidentally hold Keith's hand, they run to their room without even knowing that they were

holding each other’s hand. In front of the room, all

their classmates saw them. All their classmates was shocked. Since then, their classmates always think that there was something between them. When it comes to group project they always got the highest score, they've become friends. Life was simple for them. In the morning they will meet in the coffee shop

to have some breakfast, before class they are studying under the tree, after class while waiting for Keith's school bus they are playing guitar under the tree and having fun. They've became friends for almost a month but Keith was still mysterious for Kathy. Until one day

while they are having fun under the tree, and Keith is drawing a house.

"So you like to be an engineer huh?" Kathy said while laughing to Keith.

"Yup! That is my dream, to be an engineer someday" he said.

"Seriously? I want to be an engineer someday" Kathy said.

"We are so alike" Keith said.

Keith is the only child in his family, he is born in California and lives with his mother, and his father is in the Philippines managing their business. Her mother is always busy in her office. Keith never gets the attention

that he needs, he grew up independently, and he does not rely on other people in doing something for him. He kept all his feelings and problems, he always want to be

alone. He never felt important. He did everything just to show to his family that he can do everything by himself. He wants to be an engineer that his father failed to do. He wants to show to his father that he will never fail. He never had a friend before, Kathy is his only friend. Even though they are rich he never felt the happiness Kathy

was able to give him. He always feel comfortable being with Kathy even though Kathy is a bit annoying because she is very talkative and loud. Kathy makes him laugh,

Kathy motivates him, and Kathy cheers him up when he has a problem even though Kathy unconsciously does it.

Keith and Kathy were under the tree, Kathy was playing a guitar while Keith can't stop staring at Kathy.

“Is there a problem? What are you looking at?” Kathy said with a curious tone.

"Nothing, I'm just amazed by your angelic voice" a sarcastic reply from Keith.

"Oh! So you are telling me that your voice is better than mine?" Kathy said.

Keith laughed "Nope, you just need a little bit more practice" he said.

Kathy felt insulted "let's try if you can sing better than I can" she said.

Keith grabs the guitar and began singing.

There I was, an empty piece of a shell, Just minding my own world;

Kathy enjoyed the song. At the end of the song they look at each other’s eye, with an intimate stare. Kathy smiled at him.

"Your voice is not as bad as I think and I have not heard of that song before" she said.

“That song is called “When I Met You” a song

from the Philippines, I heard it when I was still a kid when my mom and I visited my father who is in the Philippines.” He said.

Keith blushed. His heart beats fast, he can't even move. He was shocked, he never felt that before.

"Are you okay?" Kathy said. Because of that feelings Keith don't even heard what Kathy said. The only thing that he can say is "yeah"

"The bus is here, you need to go now." Kathy said.

“Bye Kathy.” He said.

Keith was already home, he is alone his mother

is still in office. He tried to call his father but he cannot contact him. So what he did he made a diary, all of his feelings and problems will be written in it. TThen he writes his first entry.

Dear diary,

I would like to call you Keithy because I love hearing the combination of our name. This day is the weirdest feeling I have ever felt. I never felt it before... until Kathy came to my life. Though she is the most annoying, talkative and a bit ignorant, I comfortable

with her, I think I can trust her. I think I can share all my problems with her. Of all the weirdest things I felt this one is the really the weirdest, every action she does, everytime I look at her I cannot find any flaws, she is perfect for me. I think I'm falling for her.

Everyday Keith and Kathy would do the same thing, meet in the coffee shop, walk to school together, study in the library during vacant time and stay under the tree and wait for Keith’s school bus. This makes

Keith’s feeling for Kathy grow, seeing Kathy completes Keith’s day. He is afraid to confess what he feels towards Kathy because he is afraid that it might destroy their friendship.

Kathy observed something different from Keith,

she knew Keith as a mysterious and a serious guy but she is starting to see a different side of him, he became happier and started to open up about his life to Kathy. Everyday Keith would secretly take a picture of Kathy and put it in his diary.

One day Kathy left a letter in Keith’s notebook.

"I'm sorry that I can't be with you this day. I am very busy, I have group meeting to attend.”

Keith decided to go to Kathy, before he goes to do Kathy he bought some food at the coffee shop. Kathy

was shocked upon seeing Keith. He handed the food to Kathy.

"Let me help you, we are partners right? Partners always help each other" he said while smiling at Kathy.

"Thank you" Kathy said.

Keith whispered in Kathy’s ear “I miss you.”

Kathy was shocked" what did you say?" she said.

“Uh. Nothing.”Keith said.

After they have done the project, they both went home.

Upon reaching their home Keith grabs his diary and writes.

Dear Keithy,

I don't want to miss a day anymore. I don't want to miss a chance to say how much I like her. I don't know but I am falling deeper and deeper. I will confess to her.

As usual they meet at the coffee shop, walk to school together. After class Keith run to the tree where

they would stay and wait for the bus. Keith put candles forming it to a heart shape, he lights it up. He picked some flower from a lawn near the tree. Then thunder roars, cold wind started to blow and heavy rain poured. His plan was ruined. Kathy saw Keith wet and looked disappointed.

"I'm sorry I'm late. What is that?" Kathy said.

"I'm sorry, my plans are completely destroy, I want to tell you something. You made me realize how

important life is, you showed me the true meaning of world. You gave me a purpose to live. You have been

my inspiration, I don't want to make it longer. Kathy I'm falling for you. I like you. I ..love.."

Kathy hug him" you know that I love you too" she said.

Keith felt butterflies in his stomach. "I love you Kathy!!" Keith shouted.

And that was the day their love began.

CHAPTER TWO

Early in the morning, Keith prepared his uniform, polish his shoes and prepare his toga, Kathy at her home, also does the same thing. They were not able to meet in the coffee shop because they were too busy preparing for the Graduation. Today is going to be the best day for Keith, he is the valedictorian of the batch,

although his mother is not with him to put his medal.

He knows that Kathy is always there for him to support him. He is also blessed that he is the Valedictorian and Kathy is the Salutatorian of the batch.

Keith saw Kathy, he gives Kathy a hug.

"Thank you, I knew we can do it." he said.

"Are you ready for your speech?" Kathy said.

"As always." He said.

"After this, we will start the new chapter of our life, Please stay, I love you." Keith said.

"I’ll stay, I promise, I love you too." Kathy said.

"Good morning everyone, welcome to St. Paul High School 25th Commencement Exercises batch 2017-2018.” The Master Of Ceremonies said.

The music plays and the march begins. Students became emotional as the ceremony goes on.

"Let’s congratulate the Honorable students, "First Honorable Mention Ms. Allie Gomez.”

“Salutatorian, Ms. Kathy Smith.”

“Valedictorian, Mr. Keith Adam, Let us all give a round of applause for this Batch’s Top Students. And now let us hear the speech of our valedictorian, Mr. Keith Adams.” The master of ceremonies said.

“My fellow graduates. Over the last four years here at St. Paul High School we have learned a lot. To our Teachers who taught us not just how to solve’, to write, to read, but also they gave us experience that our

heart and mind will never forget and we will bring it to the new chapter of our life. This day will serve as the beginning of our life. So now we’re high school graduates. And soon we’re going to be signing each other’s yearbooks and saying goodbye. There will be hugs and tears. We’ll do our best to stay in touch. But

we’ll be living our lives and doing our best. Thank you all and Congratulations to us”

All of the students were emotional upon hearing

Keith’s message. Keith receives his medal, his Adviser is the one who puts it to him and he receives his diploma. He walks down to the stage, he saw Kathy crying and he hugs Kathy. Keith felt something weird in his diploma; He saw a bracelet with a note in it “I will wait for you, and I will always be here for you.” He knew that it was a surprised from Kathy. He goes to Kathy.

“Thank you.” he said to Kathy.

He pulled Kathy towards the tree where they would wait for the bus. Kathy sees their pictures hanging in the tree with lots of candle around the tree, Kathy cries.

”I’m so thankful that I have you in my life” She said.

“Don’t worry I will be always here for you” Keith said.

“Thank you and I love you” She said.

“I love you too” Keith said.

That was the end of their High school life. Their life goes on and on. Sometimes they argue, sometimes the fight, sometimes they are having a misunderstanding but it always ends up to forgiveness

of both. They both enrolled in Stanford University and were able to pass a Scholarship Grant. They both took up Civil Engineering.

CHAPTER THREE

It is always like the old days; they always go to

school and home together. Keith always makes sure that he has enough time for study and for Kathy. Kathy always makes sure that she is focused with her study and they are both doing their plans for their future.

They have been very busy in school, especially with regards to their thesis. Keith and Kathy don’t have enough sleep because they need to finish their thesis. They did the thesis in Keith’s house, it was 3 o’clock in the morning. Kathy slept already. Keith is still working

on their thesis. Keith felt tired and sleepy, he takes some coffee and sits beside Kathy and sang.

“You gave me a reason for my being and I love what I'm feelin'. You gave me a meaning to my life. Yes, I've gone beyond existing. And it all began when I met you” He sings.

Kathy was awaken by Keith’s voice, she saw Keith facing her. They stare at each other’s eye.

“We’ve been through a lot Keith, please don’t leave me.” Kathy said.

“I won’t ... I won’t. I will stay here by your side” Keith said and he kissed Kathy in her forehead.

Early in the morning Keith woke up, He remember that their thesis was not yet done. He is in

hurry and checks his laptop. The thesis was already done.

“You are awake, come on eat now your breakfast, join us” his mother said.

He saw his mother and Kathy in the Dining. They look like they’ve been together for long time.

“I’ve already finished our thesis” Kathy said.

“Thanks” he replied.

“So...How are you?” his mother said.

“I’m fine mom.” he replied and still curious about what is happening.

He looked at Kathy, Kathy was just smiling at him.

“How long have you been together?” his mother asked.

Keith was shocked, he knows that his mom doesn’t know about them.

“How did you know?” Keith asked.

Kathy laughs, he looks at Kathy “Did you just ...” he said.

“Yup!” Kathy replied.

Kathy and Keith’s mother laugh at him. Kathy

clean the table while Keith go to his room, his mother followed him in his room.

Keith’s mother talked to him, “I will be staying for a long time in the Philippines, I have booked my flight, Is it okay with you?”

“Yes mom.” He replied.

Kathy decided to go home.

The next day is a rainy one, Keith decided to fetch Kathy in their house, and before going to school they grab a food in their favorite coffee shop.

“I have already emailed our work he gave us a positive feedback and a high grade.” Keith said.

“Thank god!” Kathy said.

Then suddenly, Kathy collapsed, her nose was bleeding, and her temperature was very high. Keith

brought Kathy to the nearest clinic. The nurse advised that it is better for Kathy to take some rest.

Kathy woke up and saw Keith sitting infront of her while giving her a hot compress in the forehead.

“Please rest Kathy, I will be here. I will take care of you” Keith said.

Kathy smiled.

Keith prepared a soup for Kathy. He monitors her temperature regularly. He fell asleep while hugging Kathy and taking care of her.

Many months passed by, all the problems, conflicts, stress, and pain. They are doing it all for their plans for the future. Sometimes that they are both busy in their projects and they don’t have time for each other.

After all of their sacrifices and hard work they are both engineering board passers. They’ve got a job easily. All their plans have succeeded. Keith and Kathy

work in same company but they work in different

project. Keith and Kathy does all their best in their work. It seems like their plans are coming true.

A year passed by Kathy and Keith was still the doing their very best and they were even awarded as the best engineers of their company, until Kathy changes. Kathy was having a hard time focusing on her client’s project because she suffers from extreme headache. Sometimes she forgets her meetings that’s why she misses it. Her performance was affected.

For one year, Kathy has always been like this,

she suffers from extreme headache, she also changes mood quickly. Her condition worsen but despite that, Keith is always by her said, to hug her tight when she cannot bear the pain anymore, when she suddenly changes mood, Keith is there to understand her, and when she forgets things, Keith is always there to remind her about the beauty of life and her worth to Keith.

Until one day,

“Keith.” Kathy called out.

“What is it Kathy?” Keith asked and then he saw Kathy crying.

“Why?” Keith asked.

“I feel numb all over my body I cannot feel anything.” Kathy looked helpless.

“What shall we do?” Keith was panicking.

Then a few minutes, Kathy had a seizure. Keith

did not know what to do, he brought Kathy to the hospital.

The doctor recommends Kathy to take a rest

and gives some pain reliever but she needs to be diagnosed and take some test. A week pass, Kathy’s condition worsens. Every night Kathy suffers from severe head pain, she can’t stand; she loses her balance.

Keith doesn’t know what to do but he never

leaves Kathy. They go to the Hospital to get the result of the test. He is nervous until the doctor says

”Kathy has a stage Two Brain cancer, she needs to undergo into therapy, that is the only thing that we can do, I’m sorry but if we only knew that earlier we can prevent the cancer cell to worsen.” Doctor said.

Keith felt numb after he heard what doctor said.

He looks to Kathy and he hugs her. Tears drop from their eyes. Kathy was shocked.

After what they heard, it seemed that their dreams and world was destroyed. Keith doesn’t even know what to say.

“Don’t worry I will never leave you” Kathy said and she smiled.

“Please don’t” Keith said.

“I won’t... I won’t” Kathy said.

The happiness from their face turns into sorrow. Early in the morning Kathy wake up and she saw Keith hugging her.

“What are you doing in here? You need to go to work” Kathy asked.

“I will take some vacation with you, Come we need to go somewhere to relax” Keith replied.

“Like where?” Kathy asked.

Keith gives Kathy’s passport” somewhere away from here” Keith said.

“Thank you, I love you Keith” Kathy said.

“I love you too” he said.

Kathy was so excited she packs all her things.

Keith fetches Kathy in her house. They are both ready, and Keith was ready to propose to Kathy. In the airport while they are walking upstairs, Kathy collapsed and falls to Keith. Keith calls for an ambulance. The time

goes fast until Kathy woke up in the hospital, she saw Keith besides her.

“Are you okay?” Keith asked.

“I’m sorry” Kathy cries.

“Please, it’s okay. Take some rest and we will continue our trip if you are already well.” Keith said.

Keith was the one taking care of Kathy in the hospital. He never leaves Kathy. He always reads a poem for Kathy. He always sings for Kathy.

CHAPTER FOUR

“Keith…” Kathy called for Keith.

“What is it Kathy? What do you need? Do you

need anything? Is something hurting?” Keith asked disconcertedly.

“Nothing, I just wanted to say thank you for all

the care and love you have given me, I’m sorry if sometimes, we fight a lot, if sometimes I get jealous or I get mad easily.” Kathy said.

“Baby what are you talking about? Please don’t say that kind of stuff.” Keith pleaded.

“Ssshh, baby I did promise you that I will never leave you right? I just wanted to say thank you for staying even though I am not pretty anymore, thank you for being an honest man to me, thank you for staying even though you have a lot of reason to stay.

Thank you Keith, I will always be your best friend, if you need anything I’m just here by your side.” She said

“I love Kathy, and please don’t leave me, we still have a lot of plans right?” Keith said.

“Yes my love, but I am going to tell you

something if ever I die, please get married and have kids to someone who you really love, can you do that for me?” She asked.

“Yes I promise, but you are the one I truly love, Kathy please.” Keith begged.

“Yes I know Keith, I think I need to rest now, can you sleep beside me?” Kathy requested.

“Sure, tell me if you’re not comfortable or if you are feeling anything bad.” Keith said.

Keith hugged Kathy and sang her to sleep.

The next day, Kathy was already awake she’s

just staring at Keith and memorizing his face, those

eyes that melts you with just one look, those lips that

you can’t get enough of she just looked at Keith’s face

and realized how lucky she is.

Then in a few minutes, Keith woke up.

“Good morning my Kathy.” He greeted Kathy

and kissed her.

“Good morning my love.” She replied

The whole day, the two just laid down in the

hospital bed. It was half past five when Kathy

requested something from Keith.

“Keith can you buy me a bread and a coffee

from our favourite coffee shop?” Kathy said.

“Sure, wait for me here.” Keith said then he

went to their favourite coffee shop.

When he returned, he saw doctors rushing out

of Kathy’s room.

When he entered the room he saw nurses and

doctors reviving Kathy, he was shock, he dropped the

coffee and the bread that he bought for her.

The nurses and doctors tried their best and

they were able to revive her but they decided to rush

her to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

His heart was beating fast and tears were starting to cloud his eyes as Kathy was being rushed to

the Intensive Care Unit. His world starts to fall down seeing Kathy in pain.

“If I could just take her place.” He said to himself.

And before she could have entered the ICU he requested a minute to talk to Kathy.

“I’ll let you go, but promise me that you’ll come back.” He said then he kissed Kathy in the forehead.

Kathy had been suffering from Brain Cancer for two years and she is now in the fourth stage with a minimal chance of living, still she keeps on holding on and praying that one day everything will be alright. Keith has been there her for how long as she can

remember, he has been with her through every ups and downs, he was her first at everything and she was his too. They agree on all things, what genre of music to listen to, where to go during Sundays, what book to read. They are indeed a lovely couple, they rarely argue and they are each other’s world.

Hours have passed since she was brought to the ICU still he’s there waiting patiently—

Doctors rushed to the room, as Keith witnessed her heart rate deteriorate. It was the hardest minute of his life, he didn’t know what to do, and he was in despair.

“Time of death 7:58 PM. I’m sorry she didn’t make it, we did everything we could.”

Upon hearing it, Keith was furious, he was in great pain

he felt like his world was taken away from him in a blink of an eye.

“I’m sure she’s happy now, she finally got the

rest she wanted.” A voice from behind said, it was a soft, sweet and a very angelic voice.

“Do not be mad, she does not want to see you like that.” It added.

Keith looked behind and saw a skinny and pale girl smiling at her. Her pale lips and complexion doesn’t match her angelic voice and her thin body doesn’t complement the enthusiasm in her voice.

“I wish I was her.” She said.

CHAPTER FIVE

“I wish I was her.” Allie said while Keith was just standing in front of her staring blankly at her pale face.

“I am sorry for what happened to her, she must have been so special to you.” She added

“Do you know her?” asked Keith.

“No, I do not know her, I was just passing by when I saw what happened because I was about to go to my room, It’s near the ICU.” She pointed to the room just few steps from them.

“Ok then.” Keith said then he left.

It has been 5 days since Kathy died, everyday Keith visits her wake and he always stays beside her

coffin. He would talk to her telling her how he loves her, how he longs to touch her again and how he misses her.

At the day of her funeral, for the last time Keith talked to Kathy, “I will let you go my love, be happy there okay? I know you are in heaven right now, I’m looking forward to the day when we will meet again, I miss you so much, I miss everything about you, I love you so much, until we meet again I love you.” He said and wiped his tears.

Keith went home feeling a little alright, he is still hurting for what happened but he knows that Kathy will

be sad if she saw him mourning. Then he remembered what the girl in the hospital said, “Do not be mad, she does not want to see you like that.” he found himself smiling at what he had remembered.

The next day, Keith went to the hospital to pay for the remaining balance which Kathy’s family were unable to pay. As he was about to enter the hospital he cannot help but cry a little as he remembered how he

visits Kathy, how he prayed during each therapy and how Kathy smiled telling him to cheer up and to have faith.

While in the hospital, he saw the thin girl who talked to him when Kathy died, she was seated in a wheel chair and was to be brought to the Laboratory

Room, “She looked thinner and gloomy.” He thought to himself and went to the billing counter. After paying, he decided to go the chapel. He knelt down and prayed.

“God, thank you for giving me Kathy, you know

how she changed me, from the very day that she came in my life I knew you sent me an angel, an angel who will change me from a heartless person to who I am now, without her my life would be a waste. But I guess all good things must come to an end, she has done her part here on earth, she deserves to rest and feel no pain

again, I know God, that you are listening please tell her that I love her so much.”

He ended his prayer.

He decided to go home and when he was about to leave the hospital, he saw the thin girl. He

approached her, he didn’t know why but there was something in him that tells him to do so, as he was getting near her, she also saw him and she smiled.

“Hi.” Keith said smiling.

“Hi, I thought we will never see each other again.” Allie said, “Can we talk? Even just for a while, I mean, if you are not busy.” She said.

“Sure.” Keith replied.

“Just leave me to him.” Allie ordered her nurse.

They went to the garden of the hospital,

“What is it that you want to talk about?” asked Keith.

“Nothing, I just want to ask how you’ve been?” she asked smiling.

“I’m doing fine, still hurting, but I need to move on.” He said like he is talking to someone he have known before.

“How about you? What are you doing here by the way?” he asked.

“I’m just taking my medications, I have Leukaemia.” She said.

“I’m sorry to hear that.” Keith apologized.

“No, it’s okay and by the way I’m Allie, Allie Smith.” She said with an angelic smile on her face.

“I’m Keith Adam.” He replied then they shook hands.

They talked about a lot of things, like what was Allie’s course in college, and he found out that she also took up Civil Engineering like him. He also learned that

Allie used to play guitar when she was in high school and all sorts of stuff. Keith finds her very jolly and he

feels comfortable being with her, he really enjoys her company.

“I think I need to rest now.” Allie said,

“I think so too, it is getting a bit dark now, let me bring you to your room.” Keith offered,

“No, I’m fine, the parking lot is near here, it will just take much of your time if you will bring me to my

room.” She replied

“But I will not let you go to your room by yourself.” He insisted.

“I will just call my nurse, I will be fine I promise.” Smiling she said.

“Are you sure? I will go ahead, be safe, and see you soon.” He said worrying.

“Yes, if you need someone to talk to just visit me in my room, It is near the ICU remember?” she said with a tone of happiness in her voice.

“Yes, see you soon.” He said and waved goodbye. And before Keith would have walked away Allie called him, “Keith!” she called out.

Keith looked back with a face that says “What is it?”

“It’s nice to meet you.” Sweetly she said.

“It’s nice to meet you too.” He replied then he left.

“I am here in the garden, please fetch me here and bring me to my room, I need to rest.” She called her nurse.

Then in a minute or two her nurse came.

“You looked different tonight Allie.” Her nurse said as she was pushing her wheel chair towards the entrance of the hospital in front of the garden.

“What do you mean by different?” she asked

“You looked happier and it is odd that it’s only 7 pm and you already want to go to your room, usually it would take you up to 9pm just staring at the stars and just feeling the cold breeze and listening to the sound of the wind brushing through the leaves of the trees.”

“Oh, that!” She said laughing “I don’t need to wish upon the stars anymore, I finally got what I

wanted, I don’t need to feel the cold breeze anymore if I can feel his warm skin against mine and I don’t need to listen to the wind brushing through the leaves if I can listen to his manly voice.” she said smiling and let a deep breath out.

“I think you just found your ecstasy.” Her nurse said laughing.

“No, Nurse Abby I just found my cure.” She replied.

“Okay then, that’s good for you, go and sleep now, Have a good sleep Allie.” Nurse Abby said while they are entering Allie’s room and preparing her bed.

“Goodnight Nurse Abby, thank you.” She replied.

Before going to sleep, Allie gets her diary and writes.

You never failed to make me happy, thank you for granting my prayer. You really have your own plan, Lord, Thank you for this wonderful day and one more thing, I hope and I know that Allie is with you right now.

I know that she’s watching Keith I want to thank her for everything she has done for him. Please tell her to guide Keith always.

It has been one hundred days since I asked you my one last wish. You know that I have waited for years.

So from the very first day I was brought in this hospital I have decided to make my one last wish. I know my illness can get worse anytime and I can die anytime now. So I am very grateful for you have made my wish come true.

We may have met in an unpleasant way, I’m

sorry If I have to lie. I know that he is still broken but I know you have your plans, and I’m looking forward to the day when we will meet again. I hope it’s your will too.

She ended her diary and looked outside the window, in the darkest of night she finally found her brightest star.

Keith laid silently in his bed feeling a bit tired, he looked around his room and saw Kathy’s and his pictures all over it, and he stood up and gathered all the

pictures, one by one he looked at it remembering their memories together.

“If I could just hold her again, even for the very last time, I’ll be alright.” Tears started to fall down from his eyes, tears that he thought would never fall. It breaks his heart just by looking at her pictures, those sweet smiles, those beautiful eyes.

In the deep silence of the night, Keith fell asleep

with Allie’s pictures in his hands and tears on his cheeks.

A promise of forever they have made and it took a moment to make it all fade, but deep in his heart those vows are carved that not even time nor death can erase.

CHAPTER SIX

“You have another set of test in the laboratory. The result of your test last day were really good, you are almost recovering from your illness, your blood test shows that your red blood cell count have increased and that is a good sign. Just continue taking your medicine and sooner, you’ll be alright.” The doctor said.

Allie was grateful to hear the news and so was her parents.

“Doctor, how long will I stay here?” asked Allie.

“Actually, you can continue your medication at home, but still, it’s all up to your parent’s decision.” The doctor explained.

“Okay, thank you.” Replied Allie, then the doctor left them in Allie’s room.

“Mom can I just continue my medication at

home? I really want to go home, I miss my friends and my room.” Sadly she said.

“I promise I will follow all your rules and I will never skip a single medicine.” She continued.

“No. You will stay here to make sure you get all you need, you can only leave this hospital once you are already cured.” Her mom strictly said.

“Why don’t I get to decide for myself? Why are always deciding for me? This is my life, not yours! I

followed what you wanted I stayed in this hospital for three and a half month and I’m almost cured now, all I want is to go home and live normally again.” Angrily she said.

“No.” plainly her mother replied.

“This illness will not kill me, you will, can you just get out of my room? I want to rest.” Allie said, then her parents left.

Allie has been diagnosed with Leukaemia for six months and from the moment they knew her disease, her parents gave her all the medication she needed and when she is in the second month of her illness, her

mother decided to confine her in the hospital, at first Allie protested but she cannot do a thing. Even before they knew her illness, Allie’s parents have been manipulative especially in her decisions. Allie grew up in a wealthy family and everything she does is controlled by her parents, especially her mother. Everything she does is being watched and criticized.

Growing up, Allie has been fond of going to charity events, helping the poor and visiting them every

Christmas and summer. Despite her strict mother, she was still able to volunteer and donate to charity events, even if sometimes her mother is not allowing her.

“Nurse Abby, I need you here.” She called

Then in a minute, Nurse Abby came.

“What is it my dear?” she asked sweetly

“Why is mom like that? She always decides for me, I just want to get out of this hospital and I promise to continue taking my medication at home.” She said while tears fall down from her eyes

“Don’t cry Allie, emotional stress will not help you get well, just obey them, I know it’s for your good

and there are a lot of things you should be happy about, like that guy whom you talk with last day.” She said smiling at Allie as if there is something about that guy.

“And of course me, I will never let you down, I’ll always make sure that you take your medicine and that you are always happy.” She added.

“Thank you nurse Abby.” She smiled.

Then they hugged each other.

“When will that guy visit you again?” Nurse Abby grinningly asked.

“I don’t know, I hope sooner.” Allie answered sweetly.

“You’re blushing.” Laughing, nurse Abby said.

“No I’m not!” Allie denied.

“Yes you are.” Teased nurse Abby.

Then they both laughed.

“Okay, Allie you just stay here and call me if you need something, I’ll be in the delivery room.” Nurse Abby said

“Okay Nurse Abby, Thank you for uplifting my mood.”

Then Nurse Abby left.

“When will Keith visit me again?” she thought to herself.

Keith decided to go back to work. His office will never be the same without Kathy, Kathy used to visit him every lunch break or every time they have spare hours at work. Going back to his desk, he saw pictures of Kathy which made him more emotional about the place.

“Welcome back Engr. Adam, there are a lot of

proposals that you need to review and we will have a

big project this coming month, so I’m informing you that we are going to be very busy for the next few months. Once again, welcome back and my deep condolences for Kathy.” His boss said.

“Thank you sir, I promise to maintain my good performance despite of what happened to Kathy.” He replied.

“You’ll be fine someday, she’s happy now, we all know that may she rest in peace.” His boss added.

Keith then, went back to his cubicle, he decided to arrange and clean his desk so that he can start a new life, while arranging the proposals on his desk a piece of paper fell.

It was from Kathy. He continued arranging his things, he kept the letter inside the frame where Kathy’s picture is placed, he kept Kathy’s picture on top of his desk. He started reviewing the proposals.

CHAPTER SEVEN

After work, he went to fast food chain and bought some food. He noticed that the hospital where Allie is confined is just a few blocks away from them. He decided to get some food for Allie and decided to visit her.

In the hospital, Nurse Abby saw him and ask.

“Excuse me Sir, are you looking for Allie?” she asked.

“Yes, you are her nurse right?” Keith replied.

“Yes sir, I am going to bring you in her room.” Nurse Abby said.

“Is she still awake? Maybe she’s sleeping already.” Asked Keith.

“I just came from her room, she is still awake.” Nurse Abby said.

Then they went to Allie’s room.

“Allie you have a visitor, his name is Keith.”

Nurse Abby said, then she whispered in Allie’s ear “Here is your cure now.” She said in an excited tone.

“Hi Keith! What brought you here? Asked Allie.

“Nothing, just visiting you, you said I can visit anytime right?” Keith smiled.

“Yes.” Allie was shy to bring up the conversation.

“By the way, I brought you an ice cream.” Keith gave the ice cream he bought for Kathy.

“That’s very thoughtful of you.” Allie blushed.

The awkwardness of the conversation is felt, both are shy to start up the conversation.

“How are you?” both said in chorus.

“You go first, How are you?” Keith asked.

“I’m fine, I’m actually feeling better. The doctor said that I am almost recovering and the results are getting better.” Allie said in a happy tone.

“Wow! That is good to hear, we will still keep in touch if ever you get out of this hospital okay?” Keith said.

“Ofcourse we will!” Allie replied.

“So how about you? How are you?” Allie asked.

“Still coping up with it, but actually I feel I am

finally accepting it, she will always have a special place here in my heart.” Keith said.

“How long have you been together?” Allie asked curiously.

“We have been together for eight years before she died.” Keith replied.

“Oh, By the way Keith can you visit me frequently, just a little request, I have no one to talk to here, except for Nurse Abby but she is always busy with her work here in the hospital.” Requested Allie.

“Yeah sure, after work I’ll go straight here.” Keith replied.

“Thanks.” Allie smiled.

Then their conversation goes on, they find each

other comfortable and funny. Their conversation last for until 10 pm until Keith decided to go home.

“I think I’ll go now, you should rest too.” Keith said.

“Good night Allie, bye.” Then he waved goodbye.

Visiting Allie has been Keith’s routine, after work he would visit Allie and would brought foods to her, everyday they would talk about random stuff, they never seem to get enough of each other.

Three months have passed and in that span of time, they seem to know each other well, their friendship is definitely going to the next level—love.

Allie helped Keith to move on and see the

beauty of life again, while Keith monitored Allie and

made sure she takes all her medication, they were each other’s saviour, they helped one another to recover from their wounds.

Keith was able to move on faster than he could have imagined.

One night, while Keith was sleeping he dreamt of a place, it was a wonderful place, it looked quiet and peaceful. Under the tree was Kathy playing a guitar. Keith went close to it, it was really Kathy, Keith sat down beside her then Kathy looked at her and smiled.

“I know you are happy now, Do not hesitate to do the things that will make you happy.” Kathy looked prettier and happier than before.

“Thank you Kathy.” Keith smiled at Kathy

“She is the one, trust me, I will always be watching and guiding your way.” Kathy smiled and waved goodbye.

Keith woke up and check the clock, It’s already five in the morning. He got up then suddenly, he felt a

cold breeze around him.

“Thanks Kathy.” He whispered.

After almost five months, Keith decided to ask Kathy if he could be his boyfriend.

It was November eighteen that day, Keith went early to the hospital. Today is the day where Allie will

be released from the hospital. The doctor advised that Allie shall be brought home because she is already well, she just needs to take some supplement and maintain it so that her illness will not come back again.

Keith went to the garden of the hospital where they became friends. Allie was waiting there, then when

Keith saw her, he ran towards her and hugged her tight, then he whispered in her ear,

“Can I be your boyfriend?” he asked.

Allie was dumbfounded. She cannot move.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” Keith said smiling at Allie.

“I love you Keith.” Allie said.

“I love you too Allie.” Keith replied.

Keith contacted his parents and Allie’s. He has a plan and he hopes that they will approve his proposal.

“So son, what is it that you want to talk about, I flew all the way from the Philippines because your mom told me that is very important.” His father said.

“Yes dad, it is very important. I’m getting married.” Keith replied.

“Have you proposed already?” Allie’s mother asked.

“Well not yet, but I am planning to. That’s why I am here to ask for your consent if I can marry Allie, your daughter, and to you mom and dad, I’ll marry Allie if you’ll allow me to get married now.” Keith explained.

“Well you have been Allie’s sunshine, so we say yes, you can marry our daughter.” Mr. and Mrs. Smith said.

“Thank you ma’am and sir!” Keith was very happy.

“And son, we always wanted to have a little sister or brother for you, well we suppose we will a see a future little Keith or Allie, so we also say yes.” His parents said.

“Thanks mom and dad!” He said.

“So here is the plan, I would like to ask you to do the wedding plan while we are on vacation, and when we get back here, I will propose and maybe a month or

two weeks after the proposal we’ll get married.” Keith explained.

“That is a good plan! I like it.” Mrs. Smith said.

“Yes I think so too.” His father said.

“So are we all good with it?” Asked Keith.

“Yes, go and enjoy your vacation, we will take care of everything and make sure she will say yes!” his mother said.

“Yes I promise mom.” Keith said.

“Thank you all for responding to my request, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, thank you so much.” Keith ended and they left the restaurant.

CHAPTER EIGHT

Allie and Keith made a deal that they will go for a vacation. Since that their relationship started on November 18. They will go to 18 most beautiful places in the world. Allie wants Keith to be happy again and to relax from the past. They have an agreement that the places that they explore will be decided alternately it will be a kind of an exchanging surprise.

Keith search for a place that will surprise and amaze Allie. He knows that this vacation will help Allie

get really well. He booked for their flight and prepares all his things. Before the day of the flight, Keith calls Allie; he invites Allie for a dinner because he misses Allie so much.

“Hi I’ve already booked for of flight” He said.

“So where is our first destination?” Allie replied.

“Just prepare, and I would like to invite you for

a dinner tomorrow because I miss you so much, I miss your face, I miss the smell of your hair, I like to touch your hands, please?” He asked.

“Sure, you know that I miss you too” She said.

”Thanks, be there at 6 o’clock, I love you” Keith said in a hurrying tone.

Meanwhile in Allie’s house someone knocked the door. It’s already 6 o’clock Keith fetched Allie at exact time.

“You’re just in time” Allie said.

“I don’t waste time” He said smiling at Allie.

” So let’s go now” Keith said.

They went to a cheap restaurant.

“Why did you choose here?” Allie asked.

“Because I love the foods in here, and this is all that I can, I am saving money for our vacation” Keith said.

“You are rich, you don’t need to save.” Joked Allie.

“Yes, we are rich because of my father but I want to spend and give all things to you using only my money, I want to give you what I can, I want to show you what I can” he replied.

“You always amaze and surprise me” Allie said.

It’s already 10:00 pm when Keith accompanied Allie to her house. Keith gives the passport of Allie. “3:00 pm in my house” Keith said.

“Thank you, Good night” Allie replied.

”Good night” Keith said.

Because of the excitement that Allie feels, she can’t sleep.

Allie is very excited since Keith was the first that will pick and show the most beautiful place for him. Allie packed all her thing, she prepared the baggage. She makes sure that all that she need for the whole vacation is ready. She texted her mother she said that she will

be gone for a long time. She checked her passport and arrives to Keith’s house at exactly 2:00 pm

They arrived at the airport Allie was excited to know where they are going. While they are in the plane,

“So where is our first destination?” Allie asked.

“Just relax Allie, I’m pretty sure that your going to enjoy there” Keith replied.

Allie doesn’t have enough sleep that’s why she fell asleep.

“Wake up Allie we are here now” Keith said.

Budapest, Hungary

Allie looks at the window and she saw a beautiful and old structure from Budapest the capital Hungary.

The plane landed. Allie runs out from the Airport to take some pictures. She was very surprise.

“Please stay close to me.” Keith said.

“We need to find and check in to a hotel before we stroll.” Allie said

They’ve already check-in in a hotel. Keith Takes Allie to the Spectacular Castle Hill in Budapest. Allie was

amaze by the culture and historical things in the museum. The Castle Hill contains many of Budapest’s most important medieval monuments. The most spectacular of these impressive structures is the 18th-century Buda Castle, a massive two hundred roomed palace. Keith and Allie go to the terrace of the castle,

Keith hugs Allie and they feel the cold and fresh air in

the tower. They had a lot of fun the site. They discovered almost all of the two hundred rooms.

Since it is the idea of Keith to go there, it is his obligation to tour Allie.

“Keith Let’s go to the next destination.” Allie said.

“Okay ma’am, follow me, I’m sure that you will fall in love with me.” Keith said.

“Here we are in the Magnificent Margaret Island, a twenty four kilometer long garden that is full with roses with 51 meter high water tower. This is often use for wedding and debut purposes.” Keith said.

“Wow! Oh my god! It is beautiful.” Allie said.

“Now try to catch some butterflies.” Keith said.

Allie can’t say anything; she was staring at the newly wedded Couple in the water tower. Keith pick up some flowers.

“Here, for you.” he handed the rose to Allie.

“Someday we will be…” Keith said.

Allie kisses him and he doesn’t continue what his saying. Then Allie runs, Keith follows Allie. Keith catches Allie and they fall in the soft grass full of flowers under the giant tree.

“I love you.” Keith said.

“I love you too.” Allie said.

They watch the sky until sunset.

“I think we need to go, we have one last destination for this wonderful night.” Keith said.

“I thought this is the last.” Allie said.

“Nope, this night will never end until we go for a Special date, in the most romantic place here in Budapest.”

Keith set up the table. He fetches Allie to her room. He blindfolded Allie.

“Where are we going?” Allie asked. “

We are here, open your eyes now.” Keith said.

Allie saw the beautiful night light of the Castle and the chain Bridge and the table that Keith sets up.

They’ve share the romantic and beautiful sight of Budapest for the whole night.

“I’m so tired. Thanks Keith for these wonderful experiences. You made me happy today.” Allie said.

”Welcome, Now it is your turn for the next trip.” Keith said.

“Yeah sure.” Allie said.

“Good night Allie.” Keith said and he kisses Allie.

“Good night Keith.” Allie replied.

“Good morning.” Keith surprised Allie. He cooked a breakfast for Allie.

“Good morning, so you are not yet over from you’re surprises.” Allie replied.

“Yup!” He said.

“So… where is the next place?” Keith said.

“I really don’t know I have no plans yet.” Allie said.

“What?” Keith replied.

“I’m just kidding” Allie said.

The night after their second day at Budapest Allie and Keith prepare for their flight.

“Beat my surprises.” Keith said.

“I will.” Allie said and she kissed Keith.

It has been one week since they came from

Hungary. They went back to the Philippines, Keith filed a vacation from his company and Allie told her parents that she will be gone for a long time. They packed their things and left for Portugal after this trip, they will not go back to California yet, they will finish all their destinations. They will travel all over the world as much as possible. It’s their way of getting to know more about

each other. Allie and Keith is filled with excitement in every destination they will go.

Lisbon, Portugal

“And here we are, Lisbon Portugal a place where the most beautiful beaches lies.” Allie said.

”Wow! Are we going to swim?” Keith asked.

“Not really because it is cold in here. Alright Keith let’s go!” Allie said.

Allie hired a tourist guide because she is not familiar with the place

“Follow me Keith, we are going under the sea.” Allie said.

“Okay let’s go!” Keith replied excitedly.

They went to the Ocenario de Lisboa. Keith and Allie was amaze. They can’t believe that they are walking under the ocean, they can actually see all the movements underneath.

“As you can see Lisbon’s oceanarium is brilliantly conceived to highlight the world’s diverse ocean habitats. This is one of Europe’s best and largest oceanarium. Containing a vast array of fish and marine

levels, teems with sharks, ray, and many other finned wonders.” the tourist guide said.

After that knowledgeable trip from Lisbon Oceanarium, they went to the fish park.

“I will teach you how to catch a fish” Allie said.

“Are you sure you can?” Keith asked.

“Just watch and learn.” Allie said arrogantly.

Allie and Keith rode the boat and prepared the

fishing rods. They are now in the middle of the river. Allie and Keith are waiting for the fish, after a while the string moved. Allie pulled the string but she didn’t catch the fish.

“Do you need a help?” Keith asked.

“No, I know what I’m doing” Allie answered.

It’s already 12 noon but Allie were not able to catch a fish.

“My surprise was ruined, just because I didn’t catch a fish” Allie said.

“It’s okay, I’m hungry now let’s go and eat sea foods” Keith said.

“Alright, I know where the best place to eat” Allie said.

They go to a floating restaurant where the foods are freshly caught by the cook. All you need to do is to order and watch how your food will be cook. Allie and Keith order a lobster and Milk fish. They were impressed by those great chefs. The ambiance of the restaurant

makes it romantic. The fresh air and the beauty of nature make a relaxing feeling.

“I love to explore the beauty of the world. It is beautiful huh?” Allie said.

“Yeah! It is beautiful.” Keith answered.

“Are we done now?” Keith asked.

“Not yet, we have one more place to go” Allie answered.

Allie and Keith go to their last destination. To the Lisbon park Square.

“What are we going to do in here?” Keith asked.

“I don’t know either, just sit down.” Allie said.

They sit in the bench while watching the sun set. Keith is holding Allie’s hand.

“I will miss this thing” Keith said.

“What thing?” Allie asked.

“Seeing how the sun sets in here, sitting in this chair while holding the hands of the girl that I want to

share my life with, the one that saves me from my darkest days, the one that loves me unconditionally.” Keith said.

“I love you Keith” Allie said.

“I love you too Allie” Keith replied.

After that sweet moments of Allie and Keith, they Decided to go back to the hotel and rest. Keith grabs a cab and they get back to the hotel.

“I’m so tired, but I love it.” Keith said.

“Do you like my surprise?” Allie asked.

“I really love your surprise.” Keith answered.

“You better take a rest now. We need to rest at least 3 days in here. We’ve done a lot of fun things this

week. We need some energy for the next trip” Keith said.

Keith and Allie fall asleep after that amazing trip to Lisbon.

Keith woke up early and he prepared food for the breakfast. He checks Allie in her room, Allie is still sleeping. He lies down besides Allie. He hugs Allie and kisses her in her forehead. Allie woke up and she saw Keith Kissing her forehead then she kissed him in the lips.

“Good morning, I love you.” Allie said.

”Okay lets go down and the breakfast is now ready.” Keith said.

After they ate the breakfast Allie go to the nearest gym to take some exercise. Keith decided to walk around in the park while Allie is in gym.

Keith is holding Kathy’s diary.

“I miss you Kathy if you can only see how happy I am now, I’m sure that you will be happy for me.” Keith whispered.

He walks and goes to a church. He enters the church and prays.

“God I know that you always have a good plan for me, please tell Kathy that I’m fine and I’ll never forget her. I know that she is guarding me. Thank you god.” He prayed.

He goes to the nearest coffee shop to buy some coffee. He remembers Kathy, during their high school

and college days, they would always meet in the coffee shop and would have breakfast there, and then they will go to school together.

He goes back to the hotel to fetch Allie in the gym. She saw Allie near the window waiting for him. He approaches her and gives a bottle of water to Allie.

“Thanks, where did you go?” Allie said.

“I just stroll around” Keith answered.

“Let’s go now?” Keith said.

“Let’s go” Allie said.

They got back to their room.

“I’m going to pack my things and prepare for the next trip” Allie said.

“Okay” Keith said.

The next day, Keith calls his assistant to check

the schedule for their trip.

“Please set a date and send me an update about

it.” Keith said.

As usual they are both excited and prepared

their things. Keith starts the day by preparing a

breakfast fo Allie.

"Allie wake up we need to go." Keith said.

"Okay sir" Allie said.

Cusco, Peru

They arrived at the airport and fly to Peru. Peru

is located in South America and Portugal is in Europe so

they have to travel a bit far. Hours have passed and the

two just fell asleep during the trip.

“We are here!" Keith said.

Cusco, Peru is the most visited country in the

world because all of their places are sacred. Keith and

Allie took a cab to get to their stone house rest place

then prepared for a marvelous Adventure to Cusco.

They hiked a valley in Pisac Ruins surrounded by

landscape that is indescribably beautiful. Inca ruins in

Pisac and Ollantaytambo rival Machu Picchu in scope

and beauty. They hike the valley, after 2 hours of

walking up to the peak,

"Are we already there?" Allie asked.

"Yes here we are." Keith said.

They saw a big reward for them. The beautiful

sites of the whole land of Pisac. They saw the river of

Pisac where the civilization in Cusco started.

“It is beautiful." Allie said.

"Did you like my surprise?" Keith asked.

“Yes, I did." Allie answered.

Keith and Alley feel the nonstop humid wind in

the peak of the valley. The temperature is great because

it is a tropical country. They saw the beauty of nature

and felt the sacredness of the valley.

"Our adventure here is not yet over, I want us

to try the zip line here. I know that you are Afraid of

heights but we need to experience this once and a

lifetime opportunity.” Keith said.

"Okay I will, but you will go first." Allie said.

"Sure, let’s go." Keith said.

From the peak of the valley up to the lowest part

of it is the zip line. You can view the whole field of Sal

berry. Allie can’t even open her eyes, she just scream

and scream till the zip line ends.

“Okay Allie we will go to the next place here in

Cusco.” Keith said.

“Okay lets go, I’m ready.” Allie said.

They went to the Museo de Arte

Precolombino also known by its acronym MAP, it is

an art museum in Cusco, Peru, dedicated to the display

of archaeological artifacts and examples of Pre-

Columbian artworks drawn from all regions of Pre-

Columbian Peru. The museum is situated on Plaza

Nazarenas in Cusco's San Blas district, and has on

permanent display exhibitions of some 450 individual

representative artifacts that are drawn from the wider

collection of its parent museum, the Larco Museum in

the Peruvian capital Lima.

They saw the different artifacts and artworks

from pre-historic period. They took some pictures.

They saw the natural culture of people in Cusco.

The modernization of the world doesn’t affect their

culture.

They were amaze in the house culture in Cusco.

They’ve experience to eat bare hands in a molded mud.

“Let’s go back to the stone house, the tour ends

up here” Keith said.

“Okay.” Allie said and she kisses Keith.

“I love you.” Keith said

“I love you too” Allie replied.

Keith packs all the things of Allie. He prepares

all their things for the next flight tomorrow afternoon.

He kisses Allie in her forehead

“Good night, I hope you enjoy this trip, I love

you.” Keith said.

Allie woke up she saw a petals in her room and

Keith holding a food

“Good morning, Breakfast in bed” Keith said.

“Good morning” Allie said.

CHAPTER NINE

"Where is our next destination? It's your turn

now. Are you ready?" Keith said.

"Secret, I'm always ready to surpass your

surprises." Allie said.

"Okay then let’s go to the airport." Keith said.

"Okay! We are going to have a long trip" Allie

said.

Suddenly their flight was postponed because of

bad weather. Their flight was re-scheduled at ten in the

evening. While they are in the plane they were talking

about random stuff and fell asleep. After long hours of

flight Allie doesn't feel well that's why they go to the

hotel and rest then they will continue the next day. "

Amsterdam, Netherlands

Sorry, I'm not feeling well" Allie said.

"It's okay. Take some rest and tomorrow be

ready, you need to recover. Just call me if you need

anything." Keith said.

"Thanks" Allie answered.

Allie slept while Keith decided to compose a

song He tries to tune his guitar and start composing.

Early in the morning Allie was already awake.

She cooks for their breakfast. She goes to Keith's room.

She saw Keith sleeping in the chair while holding his old

guitar. She kissed Keith in the forehead.

"I love you, thanks for everything" Allie said.

Keith was awaken by Allie’s voice.

"Sorry I woke up late, let’s go now." Keith said.

Allie laughed "No, it's okay. We will go after we

eat this breakfast, I cooked this for you." Allie said.

"By the way, welcome to Amsterdam,

Netherlands!" Allie said. In a welcoming tone.

They prepared and went to their first

destination, the Amsterdam Canal. Allie and Keith rode

on a water taxi while taking some pictures. Then they

go to Keukenhof the garden of Europe. They walked the

eight hectares of garden filled with group of colorful

tulips while buying exotic street foods. Keith enjoys the

Garden. Allie collects different colors of tulips. As usual

they always watch how the sun sets in Netherlands until

they've got tired and go back to their hotel.

“Good night Allie thanks for this incredible experience, I didn’t know that there is a place like this.” Keith said.

“Good night, welcome.” Allie said.

Allie’s phone rang, her mother is calling.

“Hello mom?” Allie said.

“Thank god you answered my call, by the way where are you? Are you okay?” Her mom said.

“I’m okay mom, Keith and I are enjoying this

vacation. Don’t worry mom, I’m okay. Keith is taking care of me.” Allie said.

“Please take care, don’t forget to take your medicine and always take a rest” Her mom said.

“Yes mom, I will, Bye.” Allie replied.

“Bye.” Her mom said.

Early in the morning Keith wakes up and prepares their breakfast. He goes to Allie’s room but he

didn’t saw Allie there. He calls Allie but Allies phone was busy. He saw Allie in his room, holding a food for their breakfast and it looks like Allie was looking for him too. They look at each other then they laughed.

“I thought you left me.” Allie said.

“I thought you were kidnapped.” Keith said.

Then they both laughed.

They pack up their things and take a cab and go back to the airport.

Rome, Italy

“Of all the places that we’ve already been, this place is the holiest place of all, wake up Allie we are here.” Keith said.

“Where are we?” Allie asked.

“Surprise we are in Rome, Italy.” Keith said.

Rome has been the center of world’s greatest civilizations ever. It has exerted the huge influence over the world in its millennium long history, with wonderful

palaces, ancient churches and basilicas, grand roman monuments, ornate statues and graceful fountains, Rome has an immensely rich historical heritage and cosmopolitan atmosphere.

“We need to find a hotel first before we go to the first destination.” Keith said.

“Okay sure.” Allie said.

While they are in the taxi Allie takes some pictures, she was amaze by the beauty of the old structures.

“We are here now, this is the only room that is available.” Keith said.

“It is okay.” Allie answered.

“Are we going to Vatican?” Allie asked.

“Of course we will, but can we please take some rest?” Keith answered.

“Sure, lay down and take some sleep and I will and buy some food.” Allie replied.

Allie bought Bolognese and Italian spaghetti.

After hours of resting, Keith ate what Allie bought and they started the tour.

They went to different Rome tourist attraction. They took a tour in Ancient Rome Colosseum. They

bought some foods and gifts for their family in Campo de Fiori it is a market place during the day and party central for college students and tourists at night. Its name means field of flower.

They took a tour in Castel Sant’Angelo. It is the mausoleum of Emperor Hadrian, Subsequent

strongholds built on top of the mausoleum were in turn incorporated into residence and castle by medieval

Popes, this was used as prison but now houses of museums. It is recognize as setting of Angels and demons.

Then they took a step and completed to go up in the Spanish steps. It is a monumental stairway.

“They say that if you complete all this steps with your special someone, you will never part.” Keith said.

“This means that we will never part.” Allie said.

Keith kissed Allie in front of many people.

And they went to their last destination, to the St. Peters Basilica. It is the center of the Catholic world and major tourist Attraction. Basilica is the largest

church in the world, the Statue of liberty can fit inside the Basilica. Michael Angelo designed the dome.

“It is the first time that I saw this Church” Allie said.

“Me too, come on, let’s go inside. Allie took some pictures.

Allie and Keith did not forget to pray while in the church.

They already went back to the hotel and pack

all their things to prepare for their next flight early in

the morning. Allie was still amaze in City of Rome, Italy.

“Thanks for this wonderful experience” Allie

said.

“Welcome “Keith said.

“You better rest now. Prepare for the next trip,

you better surprise me” Keith said

Allie already slept and Keith was still working on

the song that he was composing then he fell asleep.

“Good morning Allie hurry up we need to go to

our next flight” Keith said.

“Good morning” Allie replied.

They went to the airport and Allie just continued

her sleep in the plane. Keith also fell asleep while they

are on the plane.

“Wake up Keith here we are.” Allie said.

Paris, France

“Welcome to Paris, France! Keith.” Allie said.

Paris France has endured as an important city

for more than 2,000 years. Often called nicknames like

the “City of love” and “City of lights’. Paris is today one

of the world’s leading centers for business, Fashion,

entertainment, art, and culture.

The plane landed and they go to the nearest

hotel to take some rest.

“I think you don’t have enough sleep these

following days, you better rest. Every night I am

checking you in your room if you are already slept but I

always saw you writing.” Allie said

It’s already 12 noon. Keith woke up and she saw

Allie hugging her.

“Hi, do you feel alright now?” Allie asked.

”Yup! Let’s eat lunch.” Keith said.

Allie prepares the food.

“Come on Keith.” Allie said.

“Okay, it looks delicious. Where did you buy

this?” Keith asked.

“I cooked that.” Allie said.

“Really?” Keith said.

“Yup! Did you like it?” Allie asked.

“I like it. But ... But how did you learned to

cook?” Keith asked.

“I just learned it from the internet, I am

practicing” Allie said.

“Why?” Keith asked.

“Because I want to serve my future husband

and I want to show to him that I can cook for him.” Allie

said.

“Okay, let’s eat now.” Keith said.

After they ate. They prepare for the tour. Allie

prepares the map. Keith is ready for Allie’s surprises.

They arrive at 2:00 pm in the afternoon.

“Welcome to city of love!” Allie said.

They went to the Place de la and they took some

pictures, then they went to Sainte-Chapelle. Sainte-

Chapelle is considered among the highest achievements

of gothic architecture. They took a tour inside the

Chapel. They never miss to go to Centre Pompidou it is

a high-tech architecture. They roamed around on its

library and Museum.

“Is there any church in here? Like in Rome?”

Keith Asked.

“Yup. If you like we can go to Sacre-Coeur.”Allie

said.

“What is that” Keith asked.

“That is one of the noticeable landmarks here”

Allie said.

“Why do you say so?”Keith asked.

“Sacre- Coeur is like a mini White-domed

Basilica; it is in the highest point of Montmarte hill." Allie

said.

“Let’s go there.” Keith said.

They took 20minute ride and went to the white-

domed Basilica. As usual they always took pictures and

pray. After while they went to the famous twin lofty

tower, the Notre dame Cathedral. Allie and Keith took

some pictures.

“Where do we go next?” Keith asked.

“Were going to wait until the sun sets at Eiffel

Tower.” Allie said.

“Okay.” Keith said.

While they are walking back to the hotel they

decided to taste the foods in Paris. They bought wines,

Pastas and Paris key chains and mini sculptures.

“This is what I love in Paris; all the things that

you can see are very cool.” Keith said.

“Hey Keith check this out” Allie said while

wearing a Eiffel tower hat.

“You are crazy” Keith said.

“Now check this out! How do I look?” Allie said

while wearing a big Eiffel tower shades.

“Come on lets go back to the hotel before you

completely lost your mind.” Keith said.

They went back to the hotel and Allie cooked for

their dinner while Keith is setting and arranging the

tables in the rooftop of the hotel. The lights from the

Eiffel tower are now open and they are both ready for

the romantic dinner on the rooftop.

“It is a very beautiful night.” Keith said.

“It is very perfect night” Allie said.

They have a lot of fun up in the rooftop.

“I love you Keith, Did you like my surprise?”

Allie asked.

“It was perfect” Keith said.

“How about the food, Did you like the food?”

Allie asked.

“It is very delicious” Keith answered.

They hugged each other.

“I remember you can sing right?” Keith asked.

“Me? Just A little.” Allie said.

“Come on. Just try.” Keith said.

“You play the guitar and I will sing.” Allie said.

Keith plays the guitar and she started singing.

It was a very long night for them they both have

CHAPTER TEN

Early in the morning Keith and Allie go back to

the airport for their flight. They’re going to have a long

hour for their flight. Allie is reading while Keith is

listening to the music. They are excited for the next

destination.

“Where is our next destination?” Allie asked.

“Just be ready. I hope you’ll like it.” Keith said.

“How long this flight will be?” Allie asked.

“I don’t know either.” Keith said.

“So this will be our sixth place?” Allie asked.

“Yup, this place is better than the others.” Keith

said.

“Prove it to me.” Allie said.

“I will.” Keith said.

“I will take a rest, just wake me up if we are

already there” Allie said.

Allie slept while he was writing a poem for Allie.

After long hours of waiting, finally the plane landed in

the airport and they are already there.

“Wake up, we are already here.” Keith said.

Crete, Greece

“Really?” Allie asked.

“Yup! Welcome to Crete, Greece!” Keith said.

“Come on lets go to the nearest hotel.” Allie

said.

“Okay, let’s take a rest first.” Keith said.

Crete is the largest island in Greece, and the

fifth largest one in the Mediterranean Sea. You can

admire the remnants of brilliant civilizations, explore

glorious beaches, impressive mountains capes, fertile

valleys and steep gorges, and become part of the

island’s rich gastronomic culture. Crete is, after all, a

small universe teeming with beauties and treasures that

you will probably need a lifetime to uncover.

They went to the hotel and took a rest before

they continue their tour. Since that it was Keith’s idea

to tour in Greece. He let Allie to rest and prepares for

the Dinner. He went out and bought fresh fish. He

cooked the fish and he goes to Kathy’s room. He lies

down besides Allie.

“Allie wake up the dinner is ready” Keith said.

Allie is still sleeping. “I think you are already

tired traveling from different countries.” Keith

whispered. Allie wakes up.

“Hi there sleeping beauty dinner is ready.” Keith

said.

“Hello, thanks for waiting me.” Allie replied.

“Can you still continue this journey?” Keith

asked.

“Yes sir, I can!” Allie answered.

“Are you happy?” Keith asked.

“I will always be happy if you will never leave

me.” Allie answered.

“I love you Allie.” Keith said.

“I love you too.” Allie said.

“Now stand up there and the food is waiting for

us.” Keith said.

They already ate for the dinner.

After awhile Allie slept already, while Keith is finishing

his poem. Early in the morning they prepare for the tour.

The first destination will take a long trip. They went to

Chania and took some pictures.

The region of Chania on the western side of the

island, is dominated by the impressive White

Mountains and its famous National Park, which occupy

the largest part of the region. The Prefecture of Chania

provides tourist services and activities of all kinds,

satisfying all the choices. The city of Chania maintains

unaltered all of its characteristics, from the time of the

Venetian Rule up until today.

Allie was amaze by the White Mountains.

“It is beautiful in here.” Allie said.

“Did you like it?” Keith asked.

“Yah, I like the climate in here.” She said.

“Ready for the next destination?” Keith asked.

“Let’s go.” Allie said and he pulls Keith.

After a long trip finally they’ve got to the

They went to the two famous places in Crete,

Greece and it is already late so they go back to the hotel.

Keith saw Allie and he felt wrong with Allie.

“Are you okay?” Keith said.

“Yes, I don’t but I am happy to what you did but

I think I am expecting something in here” Allie said.

Keith pulled Allie back to their room and he

blindfolded Allie. He opens the door and he removes the

blindfold. She saw Keith standing in front of her.

“Hi Allie, I just want to read my poem for you”

Keith said.

I love you. Overwhelmingly. Madly. Unreasonably,

inexplicably and inextricably.

Not even for a single moment, was I given the option

to choose

Then after all of this long day they fell asleep.

Another day has come, they prepare for the

next flight. Allie cooked for their breakfast while Keith

packed all their thing. Keith goes to the kitchen and

hugs Allie he helps Allie to for the breakfast.

“It smells good.” Allie said.

“Sit there and let me serve you.” Keith said.

“Okay then.” Allie replied.

Keith gets a plate and serves the food. They ate

together.

After while they arrive at the airport, and they

have a very rough flight because of the weather. Allie

can’t stop vomiting in the plane.

“Are you okay?” Keith asked.

“I don’t know” Allie answered.

“When we get there we will go to the hospital.”

Keith answered.

“Thank you.” Allie said.

Prague, Czech Republic

After an hour the plane finally landed. They are

in the Prague, Czech Republic.

Prague is home to a number of famous cultural

attractions, many of which survived the violence and

destruction of 20th-century Europe. Main attractions

include the Prague Castle, the Charles Bridge, Old Town

Square with the Prague astronomical clock, the Jewish

Quarter.

“Allie wake up, we are here.” Keith said.

“I am tired. My head aches.” Allie said.

Keith called for assistant. He brings Allie to the

Airport clinic. The nurse gives Allie medicine. They

check-in into the nearest hotel. Keith let Allie rest.

He checked the temperature of Allie, Allie is

sick. Because of Allie’s condition they stay in hotel for 2

days. After 2 days their journey continues.

“I’m Okay now Keith, Let’s go we have more

places to visit.” Allie said.

“Alright wait for me.” Allie said.

“Welcome to Charles Bridge!” Allie said.

The Charles Bridge is a famous historic bridge

that crosses the Vltava river in Prague, Czech Republic.

Its construction started in 1357 under the auspices of

King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the

15th century. The bridge replaced the old Judith Bridge

built 1158–1172 that had been badly damaged by a

flood in 1342. This new bridge was originally called the

Stone Bridge or the Prague Bridge but has been the

"Charles Bridge" since 1870. As the only means of

crossing the river Vltava until 1841, the Charles Bridge

was the most important connection between Prague

Castle and the city's Old Town and adjacent areas. This

"solid-land" connection made Prague important as a

trade route between Eastern and Western Europe.

orloj clock was first installed in 1410, making it the

third-oldest astronomical clock in the world and the

oldest one still operating.

They’ve watched how the sun sets in the Prague

Astronomical Clock. Allie hugs Keith while watching the

sun set.

“I love you Keith thanks for taking care of me.”

Allie said.

“Please don’t leave me.” Allie said.

“I won’t” Keith replied.

“You will always be the best thing that I have

ever had.” Allie said.

”We need to go back now.” Keith said.

He saw Allie sleeping on his shoulder. Keith

carried Allie to the taxi and they go back to the hotel.

He lay Allie down to her bed. He laid down besides Allie.

He guarded Allie all night. He woke up 3:00 in the

morning to prepare all the things for the next flight.

Early the morning, Keith went to the market to

buy fish for their Breakfast. Allie wakes up and but she

didn’t see Keith in his room. She decided to pack all their

things for their next flight. Keith gets back to the hotel

and he cooked their breakfast for the morning.

“You are already awake huh?” Keith said.

“Yup! Where did you go?” Allie asked.

“I went to the market and I bought some food

for our breakfast and for our flight.” Keith said.

He prepares the food and they ate together.

After then, they pack their things and go to the airport

for their flight.

They get back to the airport for their flight to

Argentina. They took a rest to recover their energy for

the next journey. After a long hour in their flight, they

finally landed in Argentina.

“Hey Allie, Here we are, Welcome to Argentina!”

Keith said.

“Let’s go and find a hotel.” Allie said.

Argentina is a land of natural and man-made

wonders. From the glaciers and sky-scraping peaks of

the Andes to the Vineyards of Mendoza and the bustle

of Buenos Aires, there’s so much to see in this dynamic

and incomparably unique country.

There are so many reasons why Argentina is a

top destination for tourists. It has the largest waterfalls,

the highest peak in the America.

Then they went to their first destination.

“Are you ready for our first destination?” Keith asked.

“Yes sir. “ Allie replied.

“We are going to Buenos Aires.”

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina.

The city is located on the western shore of the estuary

of the Río de la Plata, on the continent's southeastern

coast. "Buenos aires" can be translated as "fair winds"

or "good airs", but the first one was the meaning

intended by the founders in the XVI century, by the use

of the original name "Real de Nuestra Señora Santa

María del Buen Ayre". The Greater Buenos Aires

conurbation, which also includes several Buenos Aires

Province districts, constitutes the fourth-most

populous metropolitan area in the Americas, with a

population of around seventeen million.

They have a lot of fun in the seashore. Allie

builds a sand castle then Keith destroyed it. Allie get

mad at Keith that’s why Keith build a Castle and he

named the Castle to Allie.

“I’m sorry for destroying your castle, you can

take my castle as forgiveness.” Keith said.

Allie destroyed his Castle too and she laughed.

“I got you.” Allie said then she runs. Keith

follows her.

After that long time in the seashore they went

to their next destination. Palacio del Congreso It is

monumental building, seat of the Argentina Congress.

They took a tour but they didn’t take a picture

because it is prohibited.

“It is sad because we can’t take pictures in

here.” Allie said.

“It’s Okay because we can never forget this

place.” Keith said.

“We better go to our next destination before the

sun sets.” Allie said.

“Yes and it is getting cold in here.”

They take a cab and go to their next destination.

They went to Caminito. Caminito is a street museum

and a traditional alley, located in La boca, neighborhood

of Buenos Aires. The place acquired the significance

because it inspired the music for the famous tango

Caminito.

They walked along the street museum.

“This place is cool.” Keith said.

“This place is very crowded; I think we need to

go to the next place.” Allie said.

“Okay then.” Keith said.

They took a cab; the trip to the next destination

consumed a lot of time but worth it. They went to the

Mendoza Wine. The Mendoza wine region is considered

the heart of the winemaking industry in the eastern

foothills of the Andes vineyards are planted at some of

the highest altitudes in the world.

They tour the entire farm, and they are taught

by the farmer on how to make a wine step by step, they

choose and pick fresh and ready to be made fruits and

it depends on the flavor. They chose grapes. After

collecting the grapes, they squeeze its juice until the last

drop and it will be put into a container and store for

almost a year.

“I want to buy some wine for my father.” Allie

said.

Keith bought a wine. The wine that he bought

was stored for almost 50 years and he was given a

discount because they can’t afford it.

“I think I’m drunk already.” Allie said.

Keith laughs.

”You’re crazy.” he said.

“Where do we go next?” Allie asked.

“We are going back to the hotel and tomorrow

we will continue our journey.” Keith said.

Keith is in Allie’s room drawing a house. “I miss

my job in California, I miss my friends, I miss mom.”

Keith whispered. Then he calls his mom but his mom did

not answer the call.

Keith went up to the roof of the hotel to take

some fresh air. He is just looking down and staring to

the natural beauty of Argentina.

“I miss you Kathy, where ever you are I know

that you are happy now.” Keith whispered. Then fell

asleep on the rooftop.

The alarm rings and Allie woke up, she went to

Keith’s room but Keith was not there. The door bell

rings, she open the door and the bellman is there.

“Can I help you?” Allie asked.

“Your roommate fell asleep in the roof.” the

bellman answered.

Allie runs fast to the roof and she saw Keith

sleeping. She wakes Keith.

“Why are you sleeping in here?” Allie asked.

“I’m sorry.” Keith answered.

Then they get back to their room. Keith

continues his sleep while Allie cooked for Breakfast.

She wakes Keith for their breakfast.

“By the way, where do we go next?” Allie asked.

“Just prepare yourself, we can tour at least 3

places in here, and wear a jacket” Keith answered.

They arrive and Allie is chilling cold.

“I said wear a jacket.” Keith said.

“I’m sorry, I was surprised by the climate.” Allie

answered.

Keith puts his Jacket to Allie.

“Thanks.” Allie said.

“Welcome to Monte Fitz Roy” Keith said.

Monte Fitz Roy is located in southern Patagonia

near the Chilean border. It is one of the iconic points in

Andes. This granite mountain is surrounded by glacial

lakes and dramatic Ice fields. The rugged terrain and

sheer rock faces are beloved by mountain climbers.

“Prepare yourself Allie we will go to the most

dangerous part of our journey.” Keith said.

“What!?” Allie asked.

“Just kidding.” Keith laughed.

“We’re going to climb a mountain.” Keith said.

“I’m Afraid of heights” Allie said.

“Don’t worry I’m here” Keith said.

They went to the Mountain Climbing spot. It is

safe because there will be a guide and the spot is perfect

for the beginners.

Allie and Keith started to climb.

“Keith please don’t let of my hands.” Allie said.

“I won’t, don’t worry.” Keith said.

He held Allie’s hand while they are climbing.

After several minutes they got to the top of the

mountain. It was cold there good thing Keith has an

extra jacket. Allie can’t believe that she have done that.

“Thank you Keith.” Allie said.

“For what?” Keith said.

“For not letting my hands go and for not leaving

me.” Allie said.

“No problem, I know that you can do it.” Keith

said.

After while Allie and Keith arrive for the next

destination.

”Are you ready for the next destination?” Keith

asked.

“I’m always ready.” Allie answered.

“Here we are, our last destination.” Keith said.

“Wow! Is that a giant ice berg?” Allie asked.

“ Nope, I think That’s is a giant Ice tube.” Keith

said.

Then they laughed.

“Where are we?” Allie asked.

“We are in the Perito Moreno.” Keith said.

Perito Moreno Glacier is an enormous Glacier

located in the los Glaciers park. It is one of the most

important tourist Attractions in Argentina due to size

and accessibility.

Allie and Keith took some Pictures.

“I’ve never seen a Glacier before “Allie said.

“Me too, I never thought it is more beautiful

than the pictures” Keith said.

After awhile, they’ve watch how the sun set in

the beautiful and giant glacier. Allie was amaze to the

beauty of the world. “I will miss this place” Allie said.

“Are you happy” Keith asked. Yup! I was very happy”

Allie answered.

It is already late, they went back to the hotel to

take some rest and prepare for the next place that they

will explore.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

It was Saturday night when they arrive to the

airport. They got exactly to their flight. The flight took a

long hour, that cause again Allie to vomit and head

ache. The flight gets rough because of the bad weather

in the way.

Barcelona, Spain

After a rough trip finally the plane Landed to

Barcelona, Spain. This place is chosen by Allie.

Barcelona is one of the world’s most popular tourist

destinations, attracting millions upon Millions of visitors

each year. It has all everything any holidaymaker would

desire. Easy access, favorable weather conditions,

attractive beaches and surrounding mountains and

night life’s tasty local cuisine and its steeped to culture

and history.

After the long road trip they check-in in a hotel.

“Are you Okay now?” Keith asked.

“Yes I’m Okay. I need some rest to recover my

energy.” Allie said.

Keith prepares their dinner, Allie is still resting.

He enters to Allie room and he wakes Allie up to eat

dinner together.

“Allie wake up, the dinner is ready.” Keith said.

“Okay I’m coming” Allie said.

After several minutes Allie and Keith ate their

Dinner together. Allie still has a head ache. Keith bought

medicine. When he gets back Allie is in the bathroom,

taking a shower.

“Allie, I’m leaving the medicine here in the bed.”

Keith shouted.

”Okay.” Allie said.

Keith decided to go to his room and take a

shower too.

Allie took her medicine. She wants to thank

Keith for buying her a medicine. She enters to Keith’s

room. She didn’t even knock on the door, when she

enters she saw Keith naked in his room. Allie screams

and she runs out to Keith’s room. She gets back to her

room.

Keith was shocked to Allie’s reaction. He went

to Allie’s room to explain.

“I’m sorry about what happened” Allie said.

“I was just putting on my clothes then you

came” Keith said.

“I’m sorry, I swear I didn’t see anything.” Allie

said.

“It’s okay.” Keith said.

Then they go to sleep to prepare for the next

tour tomorrow.

It was 7:00 am when they woke up. Then they

started the traveling.

“Welcome to Barcelona, Spain Keith.” Allie said.

They arrive and went to Brceloneta.

Barceloneta is the most beautiful beaches in the

Barcelona, It is the most popular and the closest to the

city.

Allie and Keith walked along the seashore while

having a conversation. They enjoy the fresh air in the

shore and the soft and white sand in the beach.

“What I like in this place is the climate” Keith

said.

“Yes, the climate is perfect for the beach” Allie

said.

“I want to swim.” Keith said. They swim and

play in the wave of the oceans.

After a sweet moment in Barceloneta they arrive

and get to the next destination.

“Get ready to be amaze by the next place

Keith.” Allie said.

They went to Sagrada Familia. La Sagrada

Familia is the most popular attractions in Barcelona. It

is a large and intricate Basilica designed by Antoni

Gaudi. The design symbolizes many things.

They get inside the basilica. Keith was amaze in

the structure of Basilica.

They took some picture and bought some things

for gifts.

“We better get back to the hotel.” Allie said.

“Okay, it is already late.” Keith said.

They took a cab and get back to the hotel to

take some rest and tomorrow they will have a trip again.

Early in the morning Allie and Keith continue

their journey.

“Alright Allie are you ready?” Keith asked.

“Yup!” Allie answered.

They went to Casa Batllo. Casa batllo is a

remoled nineteenth century building. One of the Gaudis

many masterpieces in Barcelona.

They take a tour inside the Casa Batlo,.

After a long tour they went to Parc Guell not far

from Casa batllo. Parc Guell Is meant for residential

property development with Gaudi doing much of

planning and landscape design.

They walk around the Parc Guell. They saw the

history of Barcelona. They learned a lot that makes their

relationship stronger.

After that wonderful trip they went to Barri

Gothic. For 2,000 years, the Gothic Quarter has been

the spiritual and secular center of the city. Relics of

ancient Roman buildings and still found there. But the

middle ages are best represented by the historic

monuments packed into this quarter.

They take a tour and took some pictures for the

old sculptures in Barri Gothic. And then they went to the

restaurant near the Barri Gothic. They ate their dinner

there.

A very tired day for them because they just walk

in the whole trip. After walking for several hours, Allie

felt tired. They decided to go back to the hotel to rest.

“My feet hurts.” Allie said.

”We are going back now. I’ll just call a cab

here.” Keith said.

They got back to the hotel and they take a rest

and prepare for the next flight.

Early in the morning Keith and Allie woke up

early. They prepare for their next flight.

“Are you ready Allie?” Keith asked.

“Yup.” Allie answered

Panama

It took a long hour before they landed to

Panama.

After a while Keith and Allie went to the nearest

mall to buy shoes. Allie shoes were broken. “Come on

Allie pick what you want and I will pay for it.” Keith said.

“Okay.” Allie said.

She wears her chosen shoes.

“Does it look good?” Allie asked.

“Yup!” Keith said.

“I lost my wallet.” Keith said.

“What? Try to find it in your bag.” Allie said.

“It is just in my pocket, but now it’s gone.” Keith

said.

“It’s okay, I have money here, I will pay for it.”

Allie said.

After they bought shoes. They walked to the

nearest hotel they check-in.

“Come on Keith we are in Panama, enjoy the

place” Allie said.

“You can’t understand.” Keith said.

“Our last picture is in there.” Keith said.

Panama is not only the geographical point

where North America and South America meets. But

also where the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans meet in the

country famed canal.

Allie decided to cook for Keith to make Keith

happy again.

“Come on Keith Get out there and let’s eat our

lunch then we will go to the beach.” Allie said.

“I’m not hungry.” Keith said.

“Okay then I will eat… alone.” Allie said.

After Allie ate her for lunch he pulls Keith in his

bed.

“Come on Keith get up.” Allie said.

“I just want to rest.” Keith said.

“We will continue our travel. Come on please.”

Allie said.

Keith was still lying in his bed.

“Okay then tell me if you’re ready.” Allie said.

After an hour Keith was still lying on his bed.

“Are you Okay now?” Allie asked but Keith didn’t

answer.

“Okay then I think I will go to beach on my

own.” Allie said.

Allie went to the fishing spot and she tried to

catch some fish. Then suddenly there was a guy who

approach her, his name is Marco.

“I can teach you how to catch fish.” Marco said.

They went to the other fish pond and they have fun

Catching fish.

“I can’t believe that I can actually catch ten

fish.” Allie said.

“See I told you.” Marco said.

“It’s already late, I really need to get back to my

hotel. Thank you.” Allie said.

“Welcome, bye.” Marco said.

When Allie was about o stand up she saw Keith.

“Look Keith I know how to catch fish Marco taught me.

We have a dinner tonight.” Allie said.

“Where have you been? I’ve been looking for

you all day.” Keith said.

“I thought you don’t want to get out of your

room.” Allie said.

“I am just resting and while I’m gone you are

flirting with other guy.” Keith said.

“How dare you!” Allie said and she pushed Keith

and she went back to the hotel.

Keith follows her.

Allie is preparing for their dinner. Keith

approach her.

“I’m sorry about what I said.” Keith said.

Allie was just look to her and finish preparing

the food

“I’m sorry, You are right. May be it was god’s

plan to get my wallet lost, I’m sorry please.” Keith said

and he hugs Allie.

“It’s okay.” Allie said and she kisses Keith.

After eating their dinner they decided to rest because

tomorrow they will tour around Panama.

They went to the next destination. They went to

San Blas Islands.San blas Island Is located in Eastern

Panama, the San Blas Islands is the best place to

explore the rich culture of panama’s indigenous people,

the Kuna. The Kuna people view this area as their own

but are warm and welcoming to visitors.

After a long ride in the boat, they finally arrived

in Panama’s, San Blas Islands. They took a tour in the

whole Islands.

“Are you enjoying this place?” Keith asked while

they are walking in the white sand of the Island.

“I’m enjoying this place.” Allie answered.

“I love you.” Keith said.

“ I love you too.” Allie replied.

After enjoying the islands they get back to the

Panama Main island.

They went to Coiba. Coiba is the spot where they are

going to dive.

Coiba the waters of panama are unmatched in

their level of marine diversity, and nowhere is this more

evident than in the Coiba National marine park. It is the

largest Island park, as well as the largest island in all of

the Central America.

They are preparing for the underwater diving.

The guide taught them signals.

They saw the hidden beauty of the see in

Panama. They feed the fish and took some pictures. It

was an amazing experience for them.

“I will miss this beautiful place.” Allie said.

“See I told you will love Panama.” Keith said.

“Okay lets go to the next place.” Keith said.

They went to Santa Catalina. Santa Catalina is

the international surfing community has tried to keep

this idyllic spot a secret, but the word is out that Santa

Catalina offers World class surfing experience.

“I want to experience surfing.” Allie said.

“And that is why we are here.” Keith said.

They tried board surfing.

They went to Pearl Islands. Pearl islands until

Spanish conquistadors discovered the archipelagos

wealth of Pearl Island. The islands feature lush forests

surrounded by white sandy beaches.

“It is beautiful.” Allie said.

“It really is” Keith said.

“Follow me“ Keith said.

They went to the Pearl islands head quarters.

Then the tour guide tour them. The tour guide taught

them how to put up a fire.

“Come on Allie try it.” Keith said.

“Okay just watch me.” Allie said. Allie tried but

she can’t. Keith helped her. Then they put up a fire

together.

Then went to the camp and the tour guide taught them

some survival techniques. They learned a lot from that

island.

“You really do know how to make me happy.”

Allie said.

”We need to go for the last destination.” Keith

said.

They went to Sedero Los Quetzales near the

small town of Cerro Punto is one of the Panama’s most

beautiful trails. The trail winds through the cloud forest

of Parque .

It was a very romantic date down the Sedero

Falls. The mist of the water makes the place cold and

the fresh fish that they ate came from the falls.

“Did you enjoy this place?” Keith asked.

“I really did” Allie answered.

“It is very perfect for us.” Keith said.

“Sometimes this place is use for wedding

proposal.” Keith said.

“Are you going to propose to me?” Allie asked.

”Not yet” Keith said.

They end up this trip. They went back to the

hotel to prepare their things and they rest for the next

flight. It was very wonderful experience for them.

“Where do we go next?” Asked Keith.

“Well, we’ve been to Europe, and to South America, I’m thinking about an Asian Tour?” Allie suggested.

“That is a good suggestion!” Keith said.

“Yes, and I have already set my plans.” Allie grinned.

“Let’s see.” Keith said.

Allie and Keith packed their things and arrived early at the airport.

“We are going to have a long flight this time.” Allie said.

“Yes, get ready for the jetlag.” Then they both laughed.

While on the plane, Allie and Keith looked at the pictures they have captured while on different countries.

A day and a couple of hours have passed they finally landed.

Bangkok, Thailand

“Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand!” Allie greeted with a big smile on her face.

“Wow, Allie I’ve always dreamt of visiting this place!” Keith said.

“So where do we go now?” Keith asked.

“Just follow me.” Smiled Allie.

The lovely couple then, toured Bangkok.

Bangkok is the capital and most populous city of Thailand. It is home to thousands of tourists everyday. Thailand is a tropical country it’s weather paved way for a healthy agriculture.

“Our first stop, Grand Palace.” Allie jumped with joy upon reaching this grand infrastructure.

The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at

the heart of Bangkok. The palace has been the

official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. The king, his court and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925, but the Grand Palace is still used for official events. Several royal ceremonies and state functions are held within the walls of the palace every year. The palace is one of the most

popular tourist attractions in Bangkok

“This used to be the home of Kings of Thailand.” Allie explained.

“One day, we’ll have our very own version of our palace, You’ll be the queen and I’ll be the king.” Keith said which made Allie blush.

“Enough with your cheesy lines, let’s go now to the next destination.” Allie said still blushing.

“I’m serious Allie!” Keith said while smiling.

“I know Keith, let’s go now!” Allie said.

Then they reached their next destination.

“Welcome to Wat Arun.” Allie said to Keith

“A Buddhist Temple.” Keith said.

“Yes, I just thought we’ve been through a lot of Catholic Churches, why not visit a Buddhist temple?” she said.

“This place is magnificent.” Keith was amazed.

“I know.” Allie said.

Wat Arun is among the best known of Thailand's

landmarks and the first light of the morning reflects off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence.

“So this is our last destination in Bangkok, Thailand, Welcome to the temple of the Golden Buddha.” Allie said.

“Is it really golden?” Asked Keith.

“Oh yes! It is really golden.” Allie said

“That is one big gold statue.” Keith said.

“Yes indeed.” Allie said.

The Golden Buddha is a gold statue, with a weight of 5.5 tons (5,500 kilograms). It is located in the temple of Wat Traimit.

CHAPTER TWELVE

“Keith! Where are going next?” She said while

they are on their way to the Airport.

“Since you started this Asian tour, I’m just going

to continue it.” Keith smiled.

“Where are going?” Asked Keith.

“Relax Allie, just lean on my shoulder and

sleep.” Keith said laughing.

“Okay.” Allie said.

“Wake up princess. We’re already here.” Keith

said.

And Allie woke up.

Hong Kong, China

“Welcome to Hongkong!” Keith said.

“But Baby, I will tell you something, we will just

go to two places here, is it okay with you?” Keith asked.

“Yes of course, as long as I am with you.” She

replied.

“So for our first stop, we’ll go to Llama Island.”

Keith said.

The couple went to the Island where they had

some outdoor activities, like hiking and biking.

“Allie I think we need to go to the hotel now,

let’s rest and get our bodies for tomorrow’s fun.” Keith

said.

“Oh, I think, you have a big plan for tomorrow

huh?” Allie asked.

“Secret.” Keith said.

Then they checked in a hotel. They ate their

dinner and rested in their beds.

“Keith, Thank you for the surprises, I will never

get tired of thanking you.” Allie smiled.

Keith smiled and said. “You’re welcome my love,

go and rest now, tomorrow is going to be a big day!”

The next day, the two hurried to their next

destination.

“Welcome to Hong Kong Disney land!” Keith

said.

“Let’s go in!” Allie pulled Keith like a little child,

this made Keith laugh.

“Okay so where shall we start?” asked Keith.

Hong Kong Disneyland is a theme park located

on reclaimed land in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. It is the first theme park located inside the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and is owned and managed by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks.

“Oh I know! Let’s go to Sleeping Beauty Castle.” Allie said with excitement.

The two then roamed around the castle and took many pictures inside it.

“Keith can we ride the Cinderella Carousel? Then Hyper space mountain and then the Jungle River Cruise.” Allie was really excited and very happy.

Keith has never seen this side of Allie, He cannot stop but stare at her and smile. This is the woman he

wanted to marry, he felt it, He is now sure that this woman is the one whom he will share his life with.

“Good morning sleepy head.” Keith woke up and

looked around the plane.

“Good morning, where is our next destination?”

He asked.

Tokyo, Japan

“We are heading to Tokyo, Japan.” She smiled.

As soon as they arrived in Tokyo they went to Harajuku. Harajuku is known internationally as a center of Japanese youth culture and fashion. Shopping and

dining options include many small, youth oriented, independent boutiques and cafés, but the neighborhood also attracts many larger international chain stores with high-end luxury merchandisers extensively represented along Omotesando.

“The clothes here are really of good fashion!

That is why Japan is known for their uniqueness especially with music and fashion.” Allie said.

The couple strolled in the city and ate different Japanese foods. The two get tired and decided to find a hotel where they can stay.

The next day they went to the Imperial Palace. The Tokyo Imperial Palace is the primary residence of

the Emperor of Japan. It is a large park-like area located in the Chiyoda ward of Tokyo and contains buildings including the main palace the private residences of

the Imperial Family, an archive, museums and administrative offices.

“Allie do you want to have a home this big?” Keith asked Allie while roaming around the palace.

“Silly you! Of course not, except if we will have many children.” Allie laughed.

“I love you so much Allie.” Keith said.

“I love you too Mr. Adam.” She replied.

“Oh I almost forgot, what time is it?” She asked.

“5:30pm.” Keith replied.

“Let’s go now Keith we have one more

destination.” Allie said.

They went to the Tokyo Tower. Tokyo Tower is

a communications and observation tower in the Shiba-koen district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. At 332.9 metres (1,092 ft), it is the second-tallest structure in Japan. The structure is an Eiffel Tower-inspired lattice tower that is

painted white and international orange to comply with air safety regulations.

Built in 1958, the tower's main sources of revenue are tourism and antenna leasing. Over 150 million people have visited the tower. FootTown, a four-story building directly under the tower, houses

museums, restaurants and shops. Departing from there,

guests can visit two observation decks. The two-story Main Observatory is at 150 metres (490 ft), while the smaller Special Observatory reaches a height of 249.6 metres (819 ft).

They watched the sun set behind the tower.

“Sunsets are just the same, whether we are in

Greece, France, Peru, and Thailand and even in

California. People are so inlove with the scenery of the

sunset. But I think it’s not the scenery that makes it

special, I think it’s the person you are with while

watching that. Sunset is a little reminder that after light

there is darkness, that you can’t stay happy without

having a little heartache. Sunset is a reminder of pain,

but pain is also a reminder of life, sometimes you have

They went back to the hotel and rested.

Early in the morning, they prepared all their

baggage they were so excited for the next trip.

“Just prepare yourself because it is going to be

fun.” Keith said.

“Finally were here!” Keith said.

“Are we in the Philippines?” Allie asked.

“Yup! Welcome to the Philippines.” Keith said.

Located at the very eastern edge of Asia, the

Philippines is home to more than 7,000 Islands, which

inhabited by friendly locals and many indigenous tribes,

From pristine beaches and marvelous natural wonders

to interesting historic sites and once-in-a-lifetime

experience.

After an hour they check—in in a hotel and they

took a rest to prepare for their stops. Keith cooks the

food for dinner. He cooked “Adobo” a Filipino food. He

prepares the food and he calls Allie.

“Allie come on Dinner is ready.” Keith said.

“Okay I’m coming.” Allie said.

“What is that black thing in the table?” Allie

asked.

“That’s our dinner, a Filipino dish called Adobo.”

Keith said.

Allie tasted it. “It’s delicious!” Allie said.

“It’s perfect.” Keith said.

“How did you learned to cook this food?” Allie

asked.

“When I was young my dad always cooks

Filipino foods for me, one of that is Adobo.” Keith said.

“Can you teach me how to cook this?” Allie

asked.

“Sure After we eat.” Keith said.

After breakfast since they will stay in Philippines in 1

week, they just rest there before they continue. Keith

taught Allie how to cook Adobo.

Chicken and Pork Adobo

INGRED IENTS

1 tablespoon oil

1 onion, peeled and sliced thinly

1 head garlic, peeled and minced

1-1/2 pounds pork shoulder or belly, cut into 2-inch cubes

1-1/2 pounds chicken, cut into serving parts

1 cup vinegar

½ cup soy sauce

1 cup water

2 bay leaves

salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCT IONS

1. In a pot over medium heat, heat oil. Add onions and garlic and cook until limp. Add pork and cook,

stirring occasionally, until lightly browned. Add chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned and juices run clear.

2. Add vinegar and bring to a boil, uncovered and

without stirring, for about 3 to 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, water and bay leaves. Continue to boil for about 2 to 3 minutes. Lower heat, cover and continue to cook until meat is tender and sauce is reduced. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot

Allie and Keith went to the nearest supermarket to

buy some foods.

“Did you bring the check list?” Keith asked.

“Yes, brought it” Allie said.

They bought some foods and hygiene kit for their

next journey.

While they are walking they saw a young blind

beggar. Their heart was touch when they someone is

giving money to beggar. They approach him.

“What’s your name?” Allie asked.

“Ako po si Andrew” the beggar.

“What did he say?” Allie asked.

“He said, His name is Andrew.” Keith said.

Allie gave the young beggar a food and money.

The young beggar was touched. “Pagpalain kayo

ng Panginoon.” Andrew said.

“He said that may God bless us” Keith said.

“God bless you too” Allie said.

They went back to the hotel. Allie fixed all their

things in the hotel while Keith is washing their clothes.

After an hour they decided to roam around the city.

They went to the mall and watch how the sun set in the

Philippines.

“This is our fifteenth place right?” Allie asked.

“Yup.” Keith answered.

”We explored so many places in the world.” Allie

said.

“And we’ve been through a lot.” Keith said.

“And there are so many thing to do” Allie said.

They watched the sun until the night comes.

“Let’s get back to the hotel.” Keith said.

“Okay.” Allie answered

They took a rest and it was early in the morning

they prepare all their thing and they continue their

explorations.

”Where do we go next?” Allie asked.

“We will go and check how the waters under the

Philippines looks like.” Keith answered.

They went to Tubbataha reef .Tubbataha Reef in

Sulu Sea is a marine sanctuary protected a Tubbataha

Reef National Marine Park. The reef is made up of two

atolls, North And soth atoll.it has become one of the

most popular diving site in Philippines because its coral

walls where the shallow coral reefs abruptly ends giving

way to great depths.

They experience scooba diving in Tubbataha reef.

“It is wonderful.” Allie said.

“Prepare yourself we are going to the next

destination.” Keith said.

They went to their next destination. They went to

Mayon Volcano.Mayon Volcano rising more than 8,000

feet above sea level, Mayon Volcano is significant for its

symmetrical cone shape .

“Oh my God” Allie said.

“It is beautiful right?” Keith asked.

“Yes it is truly beautiful.” Allie said.

“Ma’am do you want to know the legend of this

Volcano?” The tourist guide asked.

“Yes, I would love to hear that!” Allie said.

Long ago, along the streams of Yawa river lays

a kingdom named Rawis. It is reigned by a very

generous and intelligent king - King Makusog. His only

daughter was called "Daragang Magayon" (beautiful

maiden) because of the exceptional beauty that she

possesses. Because of this beauty, all the men in their

kingdom, as well as in the neighboring kingdoms, dream

to have her heart.

It has been a hobby of Daragang Magayon to

secretly take a bath in the Yawa River every morning at

the break of dawn. It was one morning when a traveler

from the faraway kingdom of Laguna accidentally saw

her secret ritual. He was a young lad named Ulap

(cloud). Upon seeing the beautiful maiden, Ulap was

instantly hypnotized by her beauty.

In the many journeys of Ulap, it was only then

that a maiden has successfully captured his heart. Every

morning since then, he would secretly watch behind the

bamboo groves as Daragang Magayon takes a bath in

the Yawa River. He was not contented in being a secret

admirer so he eventually decided to come out of his

hiding place and introduce himself to the maiden.

Daragang Magayon, startled by this revelation

, started to come to her feet and run away, but as fate

may have dictated it, she was tripped by a mossy stone

and was about to be drawn away by the river current

when Ulap grabbed her arm. In that instant, she too was

hypnotized by the lad's stance and charming eyes that

she failed to turn her back from him and run away

Not for long, the two became inseparable lovers

and their relationship was happily blessed by King

Makusog. Ulap asked permission from his lady love to

go home to Laguna and fetch his relatives for the

pamamanhikan (prenuptial get together). He was away

for two months.

Meanwhile, the news of the soon-to-be wedding

spread like fire in the nearby kingdoms including the

Kingdom of Iraya which is reigned by Patugo. This news

enraged him and brought back the pain incurred by

Daragang Magayon's refusal of his love proposal. He

convinced his people to set a battle against the Kingdom

of Rawin by telling them that Daragang Magayon's

marriage to a foreign man is an insult to their maleness.

They agreed to capture King Makusog and ask for

Daragang Magayon as a ransom. Meanwhile, the

Kingdom of Rawis is busy in the preparation for the

arrival of the people from Laguna. This was used by

Patugo and his army as an opportunity to attack them.

The people of Rawis was so stunned by this sudden

attack that the king was effortlessly captured. The

festive mood was instantly replaced with doom.

Daragang Magayon offered herself as a ransom for the

freedom of his father even if this was against her will.

Just then, their expecting visitors, Ulap and his clan

from Laguna, arrived and helped in fighting the

enemies. "If you are real men, fight with men! Do not

waste your power in terrorizing ladies and old men!",

Ulap exclaimed. With this, the battle heated up and

there was bloodshed. Under the heat of the sun, behind

the dusty wind, swords and bolos were ravagely swished

against each other. Daragang Magayon's heart beated

outrageously because of the suspense brought about by

the battle. A bloody body fell on the ground, and the

maiden's heart skipped a beat thinking that this might

be his lover's. She ran closer and reveled when she saw

that instead of Ulap, the lifeless body belongs to Patugo.

She turned around and saw Ulap with his arms wide

open. She joyfully ran towards the waiting arms of her

lover. As the two passionately embraced each other, a

deadly arrow came flying from one of the enemies and

struck their entwined bodies. The sky was covered with

gloom as the two lovers slowly fell on the ground.

The whole Kingdom of Rawis grieved upon their

loss. King Makusog proclaimed that the two shall be

buried together since it is not right to separate what

death has united as one.

As they say, true love is hard to bury. Like a

strong current, it will eventually struggle and resurface.

Daragang Magayon's love is as such. It is said that

because of the strong love of Daragang Magayon for

Ulap, her grave mounted into a towering mass of

volcano as if an emblem of her undying love. Raging

lava even came out of it as a symbol of her overflowing

affection. This volcano which surfaced from the grave of

Daragang Magayon is now known as the Mayon volcano.

Daragang Magayon is what they claim as the Mayon

. They say that if you want to see the best of Mt. Mayon,

you should wake up very early in the morning just about

the crack of dawn. By then, you will see clearly the

perfect shape of the volcano but as the time passes,

clouds will then cover the slopes from the view. These

clouds are represented by the jealous Ulap who is not

comfortable with the numerous eyes laying upon his

beloved Magayon.

“That is one good legend!” Keith said.

“Yes sir, even up to this day, some locals still

believe that the legend is true.” Their tourist guide

added

Then they went to to Puerto Galera. Puerto Galera,

well favored for its gorgeous beaches, excellent diving

spots and wide diversity of marine species. The most

popular Beaches are White beach and Sabang Beach,

which offers nearby shopping, dining, nightlife, and

hotel accommodation.

Allie and Keith have fun in the white beach.

“I love Philippines!” Allie said.

They walked to the beach and taste some exotic

foods in the Philippines.

“Where do we go next?” Allie asked.

“This next destination will make you so happy.”

Keith said.

They take a ride on a boat and went to Puerto

Princesa. Located on the northern coast of the Palawan

Island.

They enter the underwater cave.

“It is beautiful.” Allie said.

“It is perfect.” They took some pictures in the cave

and they were shocked when a group of bats came out

the cave.

Allie loves the place. She fell in love with the Philippines.

“I really love here.” Allie said.

“I know you do.” Keith said.

“How do you know that there is a place like this

in here?” Allie asked.

“You will know that sooner.” Keith answered.

After the Marvelous travel, Keith and Allie

decided to eat for lunch. They went to Boracay to try

the food there. They enter in a restaurant. Allie was

shocked when Keith sit with two people and shared the

table with them, even though the place isn’t crowded

yet.

“Allie meet my mom and dad” Keith said.

Allie was shocked. “You didn’t say that you’re

mom and dad is here!” Allie said.

Allie hugs his mom and dad. After a while they

ordered sea foods for their Lunch.

“So what are you two doing here?” His mom

asked.

”We are traveling the beautiful places in the

world.” Allie answered.

“How are you son?” his dad asked.

“I’m great.” Keith answered.

After the long conversation with Keith’s

parents, they decide to go back home.

Allie and Keith left in Boracay. They try all things

in Boracay just to make their day worthwhile. After an

hour they went back to the hotel.

"how was your experience here?" Keith asked.

"It was great. I am very tired but this place is

worthwhile." Allie said.

I want to rest" Allie said.

"Go to your bed and sleep." Keith said.

"Okay." Allie said.

"Prepare for tomorrow because we got a lot

more places to explore." Keith said.

Early in the morning Keith and Allie arrive and

go to their next destination. They went to Batanes.

Batanes is one of the most wanted tourist destinations

in the Philippines. A trip to the province will give you the

most unique sceneries of the country, which include

unspoiled islands that will satisfy nature lovers,

livestock freely roaming above endless green hills,

massive cliffs overlooking oceans under the blue skies,

rocky shores and white sand beaches, and the rich

cultural heritage of the Ivatans.

"I love it here Keith, thanks for sharing this

wonderful place." Allie said.

"Welcome, I want to share all the wonders of

the world with you." Keith said

"Ready for the next place?" Keith asked.

They went Camiguin province holds the record

of having the most number of volcanoes per square

kilometer than any other island on the planet. But

beyond volcanoes, the province also boasts natural

attractions, including an uninhabited white sandbar, hot

and cold springs, and waterfalls. Moreover, you can also

witness the Lanzones festival in October, visit centuries-

old churches, old ancestral homes and the infamous

sunken cemetery.

They took a tour in the Island of Camiguin.

After the long trip from Camiguin. Allie and

Keith went to Chocolate Hills.

Chocolate hills are a geological formation in the

Bohol province of the Philippines. There are at least

1,260 hills but there may be as many as 1,776 hills

spread over an area of more than 50 square kilometres.

They are covered in green grass that turns brown during

the dry season. The Chocolate Hills are a famous tourist

attraction of Bohol. They are featured in the provincial

flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural

attractions in the province. They are in the Philippine

Tourism Authority's list of tourist destinations in the

Philippines; they have been declared the country's third

National Geological Monument.

"Why did they call it chocolate hills?" Allie asked.

“Do you want to know the legend of this?” Their

guide asked.

“Yes, I love listening to Philippine Legends.”

It is said that in the early times, the island of

Bohol in the Visayas is a vast mass of dry land. Rice

fields tend to crack under the heat of the sun. During

the rainy season, the dusty land turns into a stream of

mud. It is only during the rice season that the fields

turn into a refreshing sea of green.

It was one day during the rainy season that

two giants came into the land of Bohol. One of them

was from the north and the other was from the south.

Not for long, the two giants met eye to eye. The

tension between the two rivals filled the air.

"Hey! You ugly giant! Stay away from my

land!," said the South Giant. "Leave and look for your

own land to conquer!"

"You must be mistaken! I am here first!,"

answered the North Giant. "If you want, you leave!"

"This cannot be happening!" shouted the South Giant

with a stomp. The whole ground shook. Since it has

just rained, the ground was muddy. The giant scooped

mud from the ground and threw it on the other giant.

The North Giant also scooped and formed his own balls

of mud and threw it back on his opponent.

The battle of the two giants became intense.

Balls of mud were thrown back and forth. The

townspeople gathered to watch the two opposing

giants. Each one used all of his might to best the

other. No one gave up until both of them ran out of

energy. Because of the exhausting duel, both of the

two giants fell on the ground and died. What was left

of their heated fight were hills of mud from the thrown

mud balls. Since then, the townspeople lived

peacefully on their land along the hills.

During the summer seasons, these hills seem

like chocolate candies, especially from top view. This is

the reason why it became known as chocolate hills.

During the rainy seasons, however, these hills become

covered with lush green vegetation.

"Wow! That’s cool!" Allie said

They took some pictures. They explore the

Chocolate hills. Allie looks sad.

"You look so sad, why are you sad?" Keith said.

"I am not enjoying this cause I don’t see the

beauty of this place." Allie answered.

"So you’re saying that you want a top view of

this place?" Keith asked.

Keith calls his dad. The phone rings.

"Hello? Dad" Keith said.

“Yes son?" his dad said.

"I need help." Keith said.

"Anything son" His dad replied.

"We are here in the Chocolate, I want to borrow

you helicopter to see the whole view of this." Keith said.

"Okay sure. Wait for the helicopter." his dad

replied.

"Thanks" Keith said.

The helicopter came and they rode on it. They

saw the beauty of the Chocolate hills in the upper view.

"Thanks for this wonderful ride." Allie said.

“Welcome." Keith said.

After a while they went to their next destination.

They went to Banaue Rice Terraces.

The Banaue Rice Terraces are 2,000-year-old

terraces that were carved into the mountains of Ifugao

in the Philippines by ancestors of the indigenous people.

The Rice Terraces are commonly referred to as the

"Eighth Wonder of the World. It is commonly thought

that the terraces were built with minimal equipment,

largely by hand. The terraces are located approximately

1500 metres 5000 ft. above sea level. They are fed by

an ancient irrigation system from the rainforests above

the terraces. It is said that if the steps were put end to

end, it would encircle half the globe.

"Wow! What is that?" Allie asked.

“That’s the Banaue Rice Terraces." Keith

answered.

"Thats wonderful" Allie said.

They take some pictures and the landed down

to taste some food experience the culture of the

indigenous tribe in Banaue. The met a farmer there

where they take them a tour.

"The people here are hospitable." Allie said.

They walk to the forest haunt the exotic food that they

want to experience.

Allie and Keith cut the tree to get the food that

they will eat. They cut the tree into half. They saw a

white worm.

"What is that?" Allie asked.

"That is Tamilok ma’am, it is a white worm. They

eat the tree that’s why it is safe to eat them." the farmer

replied.

Allie and Keith eat the worm alive. You can’t

imagine their face after eating the worm. After that

extraordinary experience they went back to the tribe.

They are welcome to the tribe and it is already late that’s

why they in the tribe. To experience the culture of the

tribe they dressed the same as the tribe. They are

wearing "bahag".

"How do I look?" Allie asked.

"You looked perfect" Keith replied.

They joined the tribe bonfire. The tribe offered

a pig for their god they sing and. Allie enjoys the filipino

cultures.

"I never experience this before." Allie said.

"It is my first time too." Keith said.

"Thanks for choosing and planning this tour."

Allie said.

After that wonderful night. Allie and Keith lay

in "Duyan" it is a swing attached to a tree. The whole

night Allie and Keith are watching the moon and

counting the stars.

"Can you imagine what will happen to us in the

future? Keith asked.

"I don’t have any idea." Allie said.

"Maybe we are still happy or not" Keith said.

"Maybe we have already build a family." Allie

said.

"Maybe not" Keith said.

"Whatever God plans for us, I am here for you."

Allie said.

"I love you." Keith said.

"I love you too." Allie said.

They both fell asleep. Allie woke up and he wakes Keith

up.

"Good morning." Allie said.

"Good morning." Keith said.

The tribes offer them food for breakfast. They

were given a meat and a rice in the bamboo. Allie

decided to pack their thing and prepare to go back to

the hotel. When Allie was about to open the door. She

heard Kieth's voice, when she open the door she saw

Kieth singing while playing a guitar made from bamboo.

“Allie, let’s go back to California.” Keith said.

Why? Aren’t we continuing our journey?” Asked Kathy.

“Of course, we will but let’s go back to California first.” Explained Keith.

After their trip they decided to go back to

California. They went home to their houses and rest. Allie received a text message from Keith.

“Baby I’ll be busy for the next two or three days maybe? I just have something to do in the office.”

“I thought you’re on vacation?” She replied.

“Yes, but my boss called me. I’ll just make it up to you after this, I promise.” Keith said.

Allie felt sad because she thought that there will be no interruption in their trip. She felt disappointed but

she thought that Keith is really needed in their company.

It has been two days since Keith texted her. Allie was starting to worry about him.

“Maybe, he’s just too busy.” she thought to

herself. Keith hasn’t called or texted her either. And then her phone rang. It was Keith, calling.

“Good morning sunshine! See you later six pm

at the park. No whys just go. Bye I love you.” Then he ended the call.

Allie’s mood changed, she became excited and very happy. That phone call made her day.

So she prepared early she took a bath and shop for a dress to wear, she also went to the nearest salon to get her hair done.

She really prepared for this night. She looked at her wrist watch and notice that it’s already 5:40 pm. She decided to walk because the salon is just near the park.

As Allie was walking down the street, she felt a cold breeze that rushed through her skin and brushed

through her hair. She arrived at the place but there was nobody there, It was also dark that time, the place was nothing but empty. Then someone hugged her from the back and whispered.

“Welcome to destination sixteen.” It was Keith.

Then slowly the place starts to brighten, little yellow light bulbs started to light the place then a song came started to play.

It's late in the evening; she's wondering what clothes

to wear.

She puts on her make-up and brushes her long blonde

hair.

And then she asks me, "Do I look all right?"

And I say, "Yes, you look wonderful tonight."

“Can I have this dance Ms. Allie?” Keith asked

“Yes, of course.” Allie smiled.

They dance to the song.

We go to a party and everyone turns to see

This beautiful lady that's walking around with me.

And then she asks me, "Do you feel all right?"

And I say, "Yes, I feel wonderful tonight."

I feel wonderful because I see

The love light in your eyes.

And the wonder of it all

Is that you just don't realize how much I love you.

“I love you.” Keith whispered.

It's time to go home now and I've got an aching head,

So I give her the car keys and she helps me to bed.

And then I tell her, as I turn out the light,

“You are wonderful, you are amazing Allie and I

want you to know that you are very special to me, I love

you Allie.” Keith said.

He knelt down.

“I want to spend my life with you Allie, Will you

marry me?” Keith asked while tears are falling from his

eyes.

Allie started to cry, “Of course Keith, I will, I will

marry you.” Allie said and they hugged each other.

“Let’s eat now.” Keith said while wiping his

tears.

“Don’t cry you little boy.” Allie said.

The waiter then served their food.

“So I see, you rented the whole place?” Asked

Allie.

“Well, yes.” Keith replied.

“Did you enjoy my surprise?” Keith asked.

“Of course! I’ve waited all my life for this.” Allie

said

“Before this night ends, I would like to sing a

song for you.” Keith said.

“Earlier, we danced and now you are going to

sing me a song, is this a talent search or what?” Allie

laughed.

“If this is a talent show, your heart will be the

prize.” Keith replied.

“You know what? If this is a contest, from the

very beginning there will be no competition, because

you already won my heart.” Allie said while looking

straight at Keith’s eyes.

“Come on, let me hear you sing.” Allie said.

Keith stood up and the waiter handed his guitar.

They went home, Keith drove Allie to their house.

Just before got out of Allie’s backyard he saw Allie’s father.

“Good evening Sir!” He greeted him.

“Call me dad from now on, I know she said yes.” Mr. Smith smiled.

“Thank you for all your help, thanks for arranging the wedding plan while we were on vacation.” Keith said.

“It’s nothing, we brought too much pain to our daughter.” Mr. Smith said.

“Thank you so much Sir, I mean dad. Thank you.” Keith expressed with full gratitude.

“Take care of our princess, treat her as a queen, Good night Keith.” Allie’s father said.

“Yes I will dad, Good night.” Keith replied.

Then Keith went home.

The next day Allie brought Keith to one special place.

“So baby, where is the next destination?” Keith asked Allie.

“Just trust me.” Allie said.

“When is our wedding by the way? Have you thought of a month or day yet?” She added.

“Don’t worry, it’s all set now, while on travel our parents have already planned it.” He replied.

“Really? Oh so, you’re confident that I’d say yes?” Allie told Keith.

“Of course, you would say yes.” Confidently he said.

Then they both laughed.

“So where are we going?” Keith asked Allie.

“Just trust me.” Allie repeated.

Then they reached Forest Lawn Memorial Park, the cemetery where Kathy was buried.

“What are we doing her?” Asked Keith.

“We are going to visit someone special to you.” Allie smiled.

Then they went to Kathy’s tomb.

Allie lit a candle and put some flowers beside the tombstone.

“Hi Kathy, Thank you for leading me to Keith and leading Keith to me, I promise to take care of him

and love him with all my heart. You have been a very big part of Keith’s life and I know I can never surpass or

even match the love you have shown him. I know you are in heaven right now because you are such a good and wonderful person.” Allie said.

“Hi Kathy, I know you have given me a sign that’s why I ask Allie to be my girlfriend and now, she’s my fiancé. Thank you for guiding me, thank you for those years, without you I will never be who I am today, thank you my best friend.” Keith cried.

Allie comforted Keith. Then they decided to leave the place.

“That is our seventeenth destination, I want to thank her for everything she has done to you. I know she’s very special to you.” Allie said.

“Thank you Allie for accepting her, and accepting that she is special to me, but always

remember that you are the one that I love the most.” Keith said and kissed her forehead.

“Let’s grab some ice cream?” Allie offered.

“I’m really lucky to have you. Come on.” Keith replied.

Then they went to the nearest ice cream parlor and ordered an ice cream.

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

It was a busy morning at Allie’s house everyone is getting ready for the most awaited day of Allie’s life—her wedding day. Everyone downstairs is patiently waiting for Allie to come down in her wedding dress. All of her friends are there to attend the wedding. Meanwhile in Allie’s room her mother was beginning to

be emotional while watching Allie getting ready for her big day.

“I’m sorry Allie for everything your father and I

have done to you, we just wanted to give you all the best in life.” Tears started to fall from her mother’s eyes,

“And for the very last time here is my order to you, go and marry that man, I know that out of all things we have provided you, out of all the riches we have given you and out all the things we commanded you to do, having Keith would be the best treasure you could ever have and marrying him would be the best decision

you have ever made.” With a big smile and warm embrace her mother said.

“And one more thing Allie, don’t forget about

our grandchildren.” They hugged each other and each one cannot stop their tears.

“Of course mom, I will never forget that, and I have forgiven you for a long time, I understand that it is for my good. And yes, all of those things have lead me to Keith, I’m happy that you were able to raise me to be a good woman so that I can be a good wife and a

good mother to my children, I love you mom.” Allie kissed her mother and wiped her tears away.

“Okay mom, stop crying, you should be the most beautiful lady later during the wedding.” Smiling, she said to her mom.

“Why me? I’m not the bride here.” Her mother replied.

“Without you, there will be no bride, without you, there will be no Allie, so mom get your hair fixed and don’t forget to apply make up on your face and wear a bright smile for me.” Happily she said.

After getting ready she came down from her room, as she walking down the stairs everyone’s

attention was on Allie, she is a beautiful bride indeed. Wearing a long white gown with pearls on it, the simplicity of the dress made her beauty stand out, she was a stunning bride.

Then they went to the church in a white carriage pulled by a white horse, it was a fairy tale, she is the lovely princess locked down in a tower or cast with a spell saved by brave and charming prince. This is her fairy tale, she is the princess while Keith is her prince. A real life fairy tale, there are no towers just obstacles,

no witches just threats, no spells just challenges, this is their own version of a fairy tale, and yes just like all fairy tales go, they will live happily ever after but it’s not yet the end, this just the beginning.

Keith woke up very early to prepare for the wedding day, he is very excited. This is the day where he will open a new chapter in his life with Allie. Keith was busy in his room preparing his friends are waiting downstairs and some already went to the church. Before he went out the room, he took a photo of Kathy in his drawer, he looked at it and said,

“Hi Kathy, I know you have been watching us, Thank you for being my bestfriend, I miss you, thank

you for helping me find Allie and leading me to her, you will always have a special place in my heart.”

Then somebody knocked on the door it was his father,

“Son I’d like to talk to you.” his father said.

“What is it dad?” he replied.

“I am very proud of you, you have grown into a good man, I know we have a distant relationship, but I just wanted to say sorry if we were very busy in our work and we did not gave you the attention you needed. I am also thankful to you because you were able to live

independently and you choose to do the right thing, Allie is a lucky girl, be good husband and father to your children, we are looking forward in seeing those lovely children of yours.” His father said.

“I have forgiven you dad I love you dad, thank you for everything.” Then they hugged each other.

“Let’s go now, let’s wait for your bride.” His father led him out of the room.

Keith and his father went downstairs, his mother and his friends were waiting there. Everyone greeted him congratulations and shook hands with him.

While in the church some of Allie’s family

members already came, they all waited patiently for the bride to come, when the organizer signalled that Allie is near everyone line up for the entourage.

Keith was already infront of the altar, its Allie’s time to walk down the aisle with her parents. Then the song play.

“Good morning, We are all gathered here to witness the wedding of Keith and Allie.” the presider welcomed the people.

“Will you accept children lovingly from God and bring them up according to the law of Christ and his Church?” the priest then continued.

“Yes, father.” Keith replied then looked into Allie and smiled.

“Since it is your intention to enter into marriage, join your right hands, and declare your consent before God and his Church.” The priest said.

“I, Keith Adam, take you, Allie Smith, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.” Professed Keith.

“You have declared your consent before the Church. May the Lord in his goodness strengthen your consent and fill you both with his blessings.”

“What God has joined, men must not divide.” The priest said.

“Amen.” Allie and Keith both answered.

“Lord, bless and consecrate Keith Adam and

Allie Smith in their love for each other. May these rings be a symbol of true faith in each other, and always remind them of their love. Through Christ our Lord.” The priest said.

“Amen.” All responded.

“Allie, take this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and

of the Holy Spirit.” Keith puts the ring in Allie’s ring finger

Then Keith kissed Kathy passionately.

Everyone was emotional especially their families. Keith and Allie ran to the entrance of the church and rode on the bridal car.

At the reception, everyone was enjoying the party the traditional bouquet toss was done and everyone had the chance to wish the newlyweds a

wonderful life. The party finished earlier as planned because Allie cannot stay all night and has to rest.

Upon reaching their home, Allie took shower and get dressed, Keith also did the same. In their room, Keith embraced Allie then he whispered in her ears. “Hi Mrs. Adam.” Allie just laughed and they looked deeply into each other’s eyes. Closer and closer until there is no space between them, Keith kissed Allie passionately, slowly.

“I love you my wife.” Keith said between their kisses.

“I love you too Keith.” Allie replied.

It was a wonderful night for the two, their bodies becoming one just like their promises to each other. Kisses that are so sweet just like those memories they have made. Hand in hand, eyes to eyes, body to

body, they became one. They laid next to each other and embraced one another, promises that they have made, forever will be in their hearts, this is the most wonderful night, the night where they became one.

“This is our eighteenth destination Allie.” Keith said and kissed Kathy in the forehead.

“Yes, our destination to love of a lifetime.” She replied and kissed Keith.

Hi Diary!

You know what? It’s first day of classes, I am

almost late that is why mom scolded me again. Well, I’m used to it. Anyway, the first day in school went great. I’ve seen my old friends and we talked about how our summer went. Well ofcourse we’ve met our new teachers and new classmates.

I need to have good grades this year or else my mom would scold me again, school is not fun for me, well except for the friendship I made in school. School is a big pressure for me, I should be on top, I should

always be the best or else, I would face punishments from my parents. Everytime I tell them that I got a high score they would force me to get higher score next time. They seemed to be not contented with what I can do.

So the first day went well, I was elected as the

class President of our room. I’m sure mom would be glad to hear about that. And so as I was about to leave school, I saw this boy. He’s cute and he looks smart. The first time I saw him, I liked him. He’s tall, he has

pointed nose, very charming eyes and he’s perfect. I watched him leave school and I tried to follow him but I failed. Well I’ll see him sooner.

Can’t wait to see him again, I wonder what is his name? John? Kevin? Dustin? I can’t get him out of my mind! Am I having a crush on him already? But I just saw him! Well let’s see, I hope I can get the chance to talk to him.

I saw that cute boy again! And you know what!

He’s cute when he smiles! My heart beats fast everytime I see him!

I learned that their class room is just a few

rooms away from us! And I always go to the comfort room and pass by their room just to see him he looks very serious but he’s cute when he smiles :)

I also learned that his name is Keith! I heard a guy called him Keith and he responded. So he really is Keith, what a lovely name!

I hope someday I’ll have the courage to approach him and then we’ll be friends. I’m beginning to be curious about him.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to update you, It has

been a week. I’ve been very busy at school. I am elected as the Supreme Council President and that means more responsibilities for me and a happier mom. But the good side of being a president is that, I’ll have an access some

of the records of the students here in school, It means I can see the records of Keith!

But I have a bad news, I saw him with a girl they looked happy together, they were laughing and making fun of each other, I never saw him smiled like that. That girl brought out the best in him.

I heard, she’s Kathy Gomez, one of the top

students of this school. I’ve watched her compete in some quiz bee’s.

She’s one lucky girl, I can see how Keith looked

at her there is something. But I heard their just friends, well I hope they are “just” friends.

Everyday I witness their sweetness to one another.

It kills me seeing them, I don’t know why but I have loved him from afar, I have learned to love him just by watching him pass by me, just by seeing him. It sounds weird but yes, I love him.

Seeing those eyes and smiles makes my heart go pounder. But the reason behind those smiles is a girl,

some may say they are just friends but I can see something more, I know they love each other but they are just afraid to tell it to each other.

I saw them again, and this time I’m sure they are inlove with each other, I saw Keith preparing something under the tree, I guess a surprise for Kathy? But then it rained, I followed him, I saw him hugging Kathy an even though I did not heard it, I know he said I love you to Kathy and she answered I love you too.

My tears started to fell, I tried to stop it, but I can’t. I love him but he doesn’t even know I existed.

Maybe I’ll try to move on, so Diary I think I’ll be keeping

you in my closet, because this Diary is about him so I think I need to get away with things that will remind me of him.

Hi Diary!

It has been years since I last wrote on this, now I am already working and having the time of my life.

About Keith? I have no news about them, It makes me laugh reading all my dramas in here.

Oh! And by the way it has been months since I started to feel weird, I always feel tired and I easily get

bruised. I have not consulted the doctor yet, maybe I’m just exhausted with all the work in the office. And also my nose has been bleeding very bad frequently, I also lost my appetite to eat and I have observed that I lost a lot of pounds.

Hi Diary!

What a bad day for me, the doctor has done some tests to know my illness and I am diagnosed with Leaukemia. My mom already knew about it and she

forced me to be confine in the hospital. I protested but here I am now, in my room in the hospital. I have no choice.

I want to give my one last wish and after this, I’m willing to die, I want to see him again, I want to see Keith again and then I’ll know if I’m really for him.

A Special Entry, A message to God.

You never failed to make me happy, thank you for granting my prayer. You really have your own plan, Lord, Thank you for this wonderful day and one more thing, I hope and I know that Allie is with you right now. I know that she’s watching Keith I want to thank her for everything she has done for him. Please tell her to guide Keith always.

It has been one hundred days since I asked you my one last wish. You know that I have waited for years.

So from the very first day I was brought in this hospital I have decided to make my one last wish. I know my illness can get worse anytime and I can die anytime now. So I am very grateful for you have made my wish come true.

“I still cannot believe that you have known for a long time, why didn’t you approach me back then?” he asked curiously.

Then suddenly a piece of paper fell from Allie’s Diary.

“Sure, tomorrow I’ll write for you.” Allie said.

“Thank you my wife, I love you.” Keith said sweetly

“I love you too.” Allie replied.

Then the hugged each other, It was a tiring day for Allie and Keith, but it was indeed a memorable one.

“Let’s sleep” Asked Allie.

“Yes, let’s sleep.” Keith replied.

They fell asleep to the beat of their hearts playing a melodious song of love.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

The next morning, Allie woke up first before Keith, she prepared their breakfast, while cooking, Keith woke up and went down to their kitchen.

“So what’s up for our very first morning together?” he asked.

“I made some pancakes.” She said then smiled.

“Does this taste good?” he asked laughing.

“You’re rude! Ofcourse it does, and if it doesn’t taste good, well you have no choice but to eat it.” She

replied laughing then she served some pancakes and they eat together.

Allie just watch Keith’s reaction upon tasting the pancakes.

“The best pancakes in the world!” then they laughed together.

“You know what honey? We can put up a pancake restaurant for our business.” Keith said seriously.

“You think so?” she asked curiously.

“No, just kidding.” Then Keith ran and Allie ran after him they were running after each other like a kid.

Everyday would be like this, everyday is like

their first morning together, whoever wakes up earlier

is the one who gets to cook their breakfast. Everyday they are falling in love with each other deeper and deeper. Keith and Allie is the perfect couple, they are the perfect match they are a proof that love doesn’t have to hurt.

A month have passed since their wedding, Allie has a gift for Keith and she is excited to show it to Keith.

After work, Keith goes home and finds that all the lights of their house are turned off.

“Allie! Come out now, I know you have a surprise!” He said laughing.

“Happy First Month of Marriage sweety! Come out now, I bought some foods!” he said excitedly.

But nobody answered. Keith came up to their room to see if Allie is there.

“Baby I know you’re in there! Come on now, let’s eat, I’m starving.” He said.

Then again nobody answered. He decided to go out in to their backyard, there he found a table with a white cloth in it and something on top of it. He cannot recognize what is it so he decided to get close to the table. There he saw a pregnancy test with two lines in

it. And a note besides it “If ever you don’t know what it means, It means we are going to have our little angel sooner.” The note says.

“SURPRISE!!!!” Allie shouted.

Keith looked behind and saw Allie standing in their back door.

“Where did you hide?” He asked laughing.

“Under the table.” She said.

“Come here future mom!” Keith said.

Then he hugged Allie very tight he carried Allie and shouted.

“I am going to be a father!” Then he put Allie down and knelt put his ears in Allie’s tummy and said.

“Hi Baby, I am daddy Keith, I’m hoping to see you soon. I love you baby, Daddy Keith loves you.” Then he kissed Allie’s tummy.

They entered their house and Keith prepared their dinner.

“Have you told mom and dad about our baby?” Keith asked Allie.

“Yes and they were the one who suggested this kind of surprise for you.” She replied.

“I hope it’s a boy, so I can go and camp with him in the forest, I can teach him engineering stuff, and

we can play basketball together and I can teach him to play guitar.” Keith said excitedly.

“I hope it’s a girl, so we can go the mall together, we can get our nails done, wear the same dress and have the same hairstyle.” Allie hoped.

“Whatever it is, a boy or a girl we will still love them for who they are.” Keith said and kissed Allie’s tummy.

Early in the morning Keith prepares for the

breakfast while Allie is cleaning the house. The door bell

rings. Allie checks and opens the door. She was shocked

when she saw Keith’s mom and dad.

"Oh hi! Mom and Dad" Allie said.

Keith’s father and mother hugs her.

"Where is Keith?" Keith’s dad asked.

"He is in the kitchen preparing the breakfast."

Allie said.

"You didn't call, we did not expect you, we are

not ready." Allie said.

"It’s okay Allie, this is a surprise visit." Keith’s

mom said.

"Keith your mom and dad is here!" Allie called

Keith.

The door bell rings again.

"Wait dad and mom I'll check the door." Allie

said.

Keith was already done in the kitchen and he

goes to his mom and dad.

"Why you didn’t say you’re coming?” Keith

asked.

"Come on Keith! It’s a surprise." His dad said.

Going back to Allie, she opens the door.

"Surprise!" her mom and dad said.

FINAL CHAPTER

Allie’s pregnancy was not tough because Keith is always by her side, He always comes with Allie every check-up and he makes sure that Allie is not tired with all the house chores. He pampers Allie with love and care. He provides every supplement Allie needs.

“Keith! I want some mangoes!” Allie said.

“Okay baby, but first eat rice, because it’s very early in the morning, your stomach might hurt.” Keith said.

“Okay, I promise!” Allie replied.

Allie’s pregnancy was the best for her, Keith always follows everything she asks for.

“Honey! What time is our schedule for the check up?” Keith asked.

“Baby I’m still sleepy! Let’s just reschedule!” Allie said.

“No Allie, our angel is waiting for us! Come on Allie!” then she kissed Allie until she got up of bed.

“Your baby is very healthy, continue the love and care you are providing to your wife.” The doctor said.

“Yes Doc!” Keith said.

Months and months have passed and they are

all looking forward to the day where their angel will come.

Until one day.

“Keith! Where are you?” Allie called out.

As fast as Keith could go, He ran to their room.

“What is it Honey?” Keith asked.

“My water just broke.” Allie said.

“Okay, relax honey, I’m going to be a father! Okay let’s go now to the hospital, relax honey don’t be nervous.” Keith said with excitement.

As soon as they reached the hospital, Allie stayed in her room and waited for the baby to come. Keith contacted their mothers and his father.

When Allie was already giving birth, Keith just

waited outside the room and prayed he waited and waited walking back and forth. He felt very nervous and excited at the same time, all he prayed is that Allie will

not get a hard time delivering their baby and he hoped that their baby is a healthy one.

Meanwhile in the operating room.

“Congratulations Mrs. Adam. It’s a boy!” The doctor said.

Then she heard the cry of her baby which made

her cry. Then the doctor gave their baby to her, she kissed it in the forehead and said.

“Welcome to the world Baby Kallie!”

The doctor then went to Keith to tell the news, your wife has already given birth, and you can now go

to her and see your baby. Congratulations Mr. Adam.” The doctor greeted Keith.

“Thanks Doc!” He said then he rushed to his wife.

He saw Allie carrying their baby, it was the most beautiful scene he have seen. He went closer to them and he saw his baby boy, their little Keith.

“Hi Baby Kallie! I’m your daddy, remember me? Let’s go home now and played.” He said excitedly.

After three days Allie was able to go home.

Everyday their family is filled with love and laughter, Keith is always excited changing the diaper of Baby Kallie, feeding him and putting him to sleep.

It was Kallie’s first birthday Keith and Allie prepared a birthday party for their child and also they celebrated their second anniversary as husband and wife.

Baby Kallie’s Party had a lot of visitors. During

the program the lights suddenly went out, everyone

panicked then a song played, and slowly and slowly, the lights went back again

It was Allie singing.

“That song is for the most important man in my

life, Keith and Kallie. I decided to put up a little surprise

for my boys because in our everyday lives, these boys

never failed to surprise. So I said to myself, how about

if I surprise them on our special day, to my boys, Keith

and Kallie I love you so much.” Allie said.

And Keith and Kallie ran to her and they hugged

each other.

Guess at the party were very happy seeing the

Adam Family.

Their family is indeed a perfect one, years have passed, still they stayed strong and everyday felt like

the first time of everything. Kallie grew up to be a

wonderful boy he grew up living with the values of life his parents taught him. Everything that their parents were not able to give them, they provided it to Kallie, love, freedom and care those were the things they instil in Kallie’s mind and heart.

This is Allie and Keith’s fairy tale, Allie is the queen while Keith is her king. A real life fairy tale, there are no towers just obstacles, no witches just threats, no spells just challenges, no treasures just blessings. This

is their own version of a fairy tale, and yes just like all

fairy tales go, they live happily ever after. This maybe the end of the story but their journey goes on forever.

EPILOGUE

“Mom are the foods for tonight’s dinner ready?” Kallie asked.

“Yes baby.” Replied Allie.

“Moooom! Don’t call me baby, I’m not a kid anymore I’m already 19!.” Kallie said.

“Okay, son whatever you say.” Allie replied.

“Well you two looked busy tonight, what’s happening?” Asked Keith.

“Dad. Please join us for dinner.” Kallie pleaded.

“Sure son!” Keith replied.

“I’ll be back before dinner.” Kallie said then he left.

The Adam Family are going to have a dinner tonight. Kallie is very excited.

Few hours have passed, Kallie returned home,

this time she's with a girl. A very fine little lady, she is very pretty.

“Mom and Dad, I would like you to meet Kathleen, my girlfriend.” Kallie said.

Allie and Keith just looked at each other and smiled. It reminded them of how they used to be.
