By putting the website on the magazine, it gives the audience another way to access the brand. This encourages brand loyalty.

The masthead comes over the edge of the page and has a shadow to make it stand out.

Caption anchored on stars lapel. Name of programme, day and channel. Gives audience easy access.

Stars eye is in centre of the page, breaking the rule of thirds, and part of his face is obscured.

It looks like its ripped at the top and side to show that its disposable and that its been constructed in a rush.

Wide banner at the top catches audiences eyes on news stand as it is different to other soap mags.

Wide banner: “ 2 weeks revealed” implies value for money.

All canted text is tilted in the same direction and to the same degree. Nothing is Random.

Punctuation creates rhetorical questions and excitement ?!

Main feature is in a bright colour to attract the audiences attention.

Stars eyes are in the centre of the page breaking the rule of thirds.

Features are anchored on the stars so we know which story goes with which star.

The masthead is anchored slightly over the stars head to make it stand out.

The headings are in bold and are in upper case, the subheadings are in lower case and in a smaller font size.

They have included the website in the top right hand corner of the page because they know about our habits/trends.

As the reader goes down the page the features get smaller in size prioritising them in order of the size of the story.

The colour of the main feature (purple) is what the stars are wearing. This shows that this feature is about them.

The date in the corner of the page and just below it show that it lasts only for a week.

They have put the price in the top right hand corner and in the centre of the page to draw your attention to the fact that its so cheap.

The country is included at the top of the page. This is because times of programmes may change. The issue number is also included.

TV Choice is in red to make it stand out and to show off the brand.

The main feature is in upper case and is in yellow and red to make it stand out. The masthead is only 1/2 things that is in red which would therefore draw your attention.

Seven colours makes the publication seem bright.
