Quick Fixes and Connectivity
Your District TLC (Z:) Drive
• Click on "Computer" in your start menu.
• Click "Map Network Drive"
• Select the Z: Drive
• Under "Folder" type in \\admin\tlc$

Check WIFI Connection
• For Windows 7- The Basics • Click on Bars • Open Network & Sharing
Center • Make sure your
LessWires2003 or SUSD Network is Connected
Connection Problems?• Is the antenna switch turned on? • What is your signal strength? • Are you connected to
LessWires2003? • Are teachers in other classrooms
having connection problems? • Have you logged off and tried to
reestablish connections?

Properties"o Make sure that the
FIRST and the LAST boxes are checked
Check WIFI Permissions

Properties" box, click on the "Securities" tab at the top of the page.
o Click on the "Advanced Settings“ button.
o Make sure that the first button "Specify authentication mode“ is checked.
o The setting box should list "User or Computer Authentication"

Back-up Plan: The Ethernet Cable
Missing Files- Teacher• Missing drives and files are
often the result of connection problems.
• You can see if you are
missing system drives by clicking "My Computer"
• Connections can be
repaired by restarting your computer while you are connected to the blue Ethernet cable.

• For Students, missing files and programs are often the result of connection problems.
• Connections can be repaired by restarting your computer while you are connected to the blue Ethernet cable.
Backup your Files!
Your Local Disk (C:) Drive • Create a folder for
your files by clicking "New Folder".
• This is where you can store all of the files that you would like to take home.
• Another option is to use a USB or “flash” drive

oGreen means Good
oOrange DOESN’T always mean Bad. It may just mean you need an update.

Right Click on Realtek HD Audio Manager, select Volume Control
Make sure "Mute all" is unchecked, adjust volume as needed
