Beginning with the class of 20 14,Naviance High Schoolwill transition to a near-paperless system for processing and submitting students documents to colleges using the Naviance eDocs systen.The Naviance system creates a levelof proficiency that is effective and time-efficient.

Welcome  Finding the college that is right for you is exciting,challenging,rewarding,and at times,frustrating .The purpos the college guidance program at Episcopal is to help students understand that college selection Is a process, process whiCh demands careful attention and participation,a process that is highly personal.students should through a period of sell-renection. the first step in the planning process.Consider many things:interests,talen personal goals, strengths , and weaknesses.Be realistic when thinking about yourself.Do not be afraid to reac dream, but keep one foot on the ground.

Each year,Episcopal students are encouraged to sign up to meet with many of the over one hundred college representatives that visit our campus.In the fall our students participate In the College Preview program,spon: by Sl Mark's,Hockaday, Greenhill,Parish,and Episcopal,welcoming approximately two hundred college representatives .Additionally, we believe invisiting college campuses in order to get a better idea of What the sc is really like.There is no substitute for a college visH as a way or assessing the sChool for the best "fit' We believe the more students become involved inthe process,the more sell-confident they will feel about theh to make good decisions.The more time students invest inthe process,the Closer they will come to finding the college that suits them as individuals.

Reflections I volunteered at Bryan's House Preschool in downtown Dallas. This school originally started as a care center for HIV positive children and their families, but today preventative techniques and technologies have made its< that only 9 children in the Dallas area are currently suffering from HIV. The school now accommodates student affected by HIV or AIDS, HIV positive children, and children affected by or having learning mental disabilities. I spent my time playing with the children, cleaning, and helping the teachers with anything they need. The teachers at the school were some of the nicest and friendliest women I have met in my entire life and it brough1 me joy to work with them. This volunteer service has impacted me a lot and is making me consider pediatrics.
