Hero tends to be the male character “Boy meets girl” scenario Love matching and a “happily ever after” Characters can become separated due to an argument A build up of love between the characters Prompt usually flowers/wedding bells are seen Normally involves emotions - feeling pain, love, jealously, lust, past story Links to the audience’s emotions and experiences - general family issues (relatable) Voiceover is usually a male voice
