Using the Library Catalogue

Use A-Z Title search when the title is known


Details of all copies are shown, click to Request item


For Library Catalogue only:- Borrower ID = student number & Pin = date of birthLog in to My Account in the same way for Renewing loans


Select from which campus to collect the book

Title Keyword search works as a Subject search, or for use when unsure of full title. Other Keyword searches are available eg. Journal Keyword

Think about the search terms or keywords

Arrange into broader narrower terms

Consider any alternative terms or spellings: eg. tourism/travel ; program/programme

Summon the new single search discovery service from the main Library and IT Support page or My Library within myUniHub and also linked from the library catalogue

Summon Search for heritage tourism as before, then limit to Journal Article

Summon - reducing to full text journal articles, still over 9,000. ....Refine with another keyword - management

Summonadd “and management” make sure Journal Article is selected and you can also tick for “tourism” under Subject Terms. Click for the online full text article
