2. Encourage more participation in class and with classmates

• Give targets to students before the lesson – They must raise their hand at least three times in a lesson. Tracked using TSR and individuals are rewarded with merits

• Peer marking – Improve confidence and understanding amongst classmates (Classics) Examples of peer marking

• Role plays – Encourages spoken English, improves confidence and participation amongst all students. (PRS)
