Cupcakes have always been a favourite, they’re one of the easiest

things to bake, and one of the tastiest., but people are rarely

adventurous with the flavours they make. So why not get creative? Here’s a list of the top 10 cupcake flavours, baked fresh, tried and tasted by two tasters and then ranked in order of

scrumptiousness…

Of course, it had to be on the list. So, it might not be the most

adventurous or flavourful flavour, but it’s a classic, it’s simple and “you just can’t go wrong with

vanilla”, according to taster 1. This cupcake is loaded with the sweet

taste of vanilla with a thick, creamy buttercream topping. [Recipe]

said “most of the time orange flavoured things are either way too strong or nothing like orange, but the flavouring was just right.” And

that’s probably because of the orange marmalade swirled into the

mixture, and the smooth orange flavoured topping. Finish with a

Chocolate &Coconut

Chocolate. Coconut. Who doesn’t love that combination? This is the

cupcake form of the beloved Bounty chocolate bar. Taster 1 said

“The flavours compliment each other perfectly. The chocolate

doesn’t overpower the coconut and vice versa.” A simple chocolate bun with a thick chocolate and coconut

Coffee &Hazelnut

The coffee chocolates always seem to be the last ones left in the box,

but when accompanied with hazelnut in a delectable cupcake,

there’ll be some of the first ones to go. Taster 2 said “it’s like the

cupcake version of a Starbucks.” A delicious chocolate cupcake loaded with chopped hazelnuts and topped

according to taster 2 “you’ll want to eat them until you feel sick, but even then you probably wouldn’t want to stop.” A white chocolate and cranberry cupcake, with a

Cupcakes don’t have to be filled with chocolate chips and vanilla,

why not load them with some delicious, sweet summer fruits.

Taster 1 said “Some cupcakes make you feel guilty because of all the sugar, but you just can’t feel bad eating this one!” A delicious pink cupcake filled with summer fruits

and finished with a pink buttercream topping.

Maple syrup doesn’t just have to be saved for Pancake Day, swirl it in to your cupcake mix for a scrumptious

surprise. Taster 2 said “This cupcake definitely deserves to be in

the top three, it’s sweet, it’s crunchy and it is absolutely divine.”

A simple twist on an American favourite. Peanut butter just isn’t as

prized in England as it is in the United States, but it should be and

after indulging in this cupcake you’ll agree. Taster 1 said “This has to be one of my favourites, it was almost
