He was born in 1814 , Died in 1862 (almost 48 years overall ) he lived in Hartford , Connecticut state Samuel at the beggining of his life was actualy a farmer who had moved his family into the city after he became a buissnesman Some of his Family members died early because of tuberculosis At age of 11, Colt was indentured to a farmer in Glastonbury, where he did chores and attended school.
