Education When he was 13 years old, he went
on a scholarship at the Scared Heart Collage. It was a Catholic boarding school. He took piano lesson from a
nun. He also went to Auckland University in 1971 and quit in the middle of 1972
because his music was much more important than studies. So then on, he and his buddies from university
formed a group called Split Enz, the group was a hit when his brother

Quailties He is a singer (of course) and he has had a
really interesting path in his life he just started singing when he walk into the music room at Auckland University and just jammed with his friends and in life he thought that music was his life he cared about it more about studies he became famous and still hang out with his friends because they were in a band together,
there album didn't sell as good as they thought but when his younger brother Neil Finn came
into the band they were a hit, at the same time Tim was feeling happy but a little jealous too. So he started in around 1971 and went on
with singing. He was proud to be a New Zealander, he even call his band 'Split Enz' it was going to be Split Ends but the two last letters represent where the band was from.
