What are volcanoes?

• Volcanoes are hills with openings at the top on the earths surface. When they are active they can let out ash , gases and hot magma which make violent and spectacular eruptions.

• Volcanoes are mountains with holes at the top. When they are active they can let out ash, gases and hot magma and sometimes violent and spectacular eruptions.

Different Volcanoes

• There are different kinds of volcanoes like theCone volcano, caldera and the volcanic field!!! Also there are ones under the sea

How does a volcano affect peoples lives?

• A volcano effects peoples life by melting things like there property valuables and most of the other stuff they have. It can also destroy buildings and can also kill pets or wild animals. People can lose jobs which means you lose money.

What causes the disaster.

• Magma comes up the vent and goes into a large chamber. Pressure from the solid rock around it forces the magma up to the surface.

What’s lava made of?

• Lava is made out of crystals , volcanic glass and bubbles.

Were the disaster occurs the most

• Volcanoes occur in a lot of places. But in New Zealand on the north island there is a lot of volcanoes around Auckland.

What are volcanoes made of?

Volcanoes are made of lava, tephra ,pumice and Volcanic ash.
