Emily & Jacob SmithPLAYED BY: Willow and Jayden Smith

We have chosen these actors because they are brother and sister in real life which means that the connection on screen will be real which enables the film to be more relatable. They are well known by the younger generation and could be looked upon as role models.

Page 6: The Toy Company

Jenny (Jenifer Lopez)We have chosen Jenifer Lopez to play the role of Jenny (step-mother) as she fits the character description well. She is influential towards the older generation, thus attracting a wider range of people and making the film more successful. She plays Seth Craft’s right-hand man, employed to have a

fake relationship with naïve Eddie Smith, which allows her to find out vital information which could jeopardize his chances for the promotion whilst distracting him in the process.

Page 7: The Toy Company

Eddie Smith (Eddie Murphy)

We have chosen Eddie Murphy as he is also an influential individual to the adult generation but also because of his charming personality and humorous charisma. Due to his comical personality he could easily be perceived as being oblivious to the evils of Jenny.

He is another businessman in the Toy Company who is running for the promotion. He wants to keep the company focused on producing toys but also plans to open more stores, therefore employing more staff.

Page 8: The Toy Company

Seth Craft (Johnny Depp)

We have chosen Johnny Depp because he has the ability to play a sinister role in any movie genre. He fits the characteristics of Seth Craft who is an evil and manipulative businessman who wants to take over the toy company and change the policies to make it a call-center which will make him a lot of money. He also plans to reduce the amount of staff which will increase his own profit.

PLOTO Emily and Jacob’s mother died when they were a lot

younger and Eddie has just met a new partner called Jenny whom the children are not fond of. Jenny is seemingly nice and innocent but away from their father she has an evil streak and they later find out that she is Seth Craft’s right-hand man.

O Emily and Jacob’s father, Eddie, is the other businessman running for the promotion so him and Seth and arch-enemies.

O The film will ultimately be based on the children proving that Jenny is associated with Seth. They will be successful in this which allows Eddie to become more determined to beat Seth.

O Eventually Eddie gets the promotion and the toy company is saved – the children are rewarded with lots of the companies toys on Christmas day.
