Evolution

The increasing popularity of social networks has passed in parallel to increased levels of sharing content trackthe Internet. This has made the Internet a more social medium that allows to communicate, entertain, andshare. Users have gone from a stage in which they were considered mere consumers of content created byothers users with some knowledge of programming, a step in which the contents are produced by thoseequipped with a computer connection and basic knowledge users themselves Internet use.

Characteristics of Social Networks

1) They are based on the user: Social networks are built and by the users themselves, who also nourish them with targeted content.

2) Are Interactive: Social networks also have a set of chat rooms and forums, based on a series of networking games, as a way to connect with friends and fun applications.

3) Establish relationships: Social networks not only allow discovering new friends based on interests, but also allow to reconnect with old friends with whom contact has been lost

many years ago.

4) Exchange of information and interests: Social networks allow content posted by a user is distributed through a network of sub-contacts and much bigger than you can imagine.
