The frontal interlope is an important part in the human brain. It is responsible for making decisions and plans. It is also responsible for wicked intentions. The Holy Qur’an, the Muslims' Holy Book, mentions the frontal interlope, and implicitly determines its function.

What is the frontal lobe?Scientific Introduction

This is the most recent evolutionary addition to the brain. If the brain had a White House, it would be here. It is the true center for command and control in your body. The frontal lobe is responsible for functions such as reasoning, problem solving, judgment and impulse control. This, coupled with the fact that it's the last to develop when we are young adults, probably answers a lot of questions for many parents out there. ..

The frontal lobe is an area in the brain of mammals. It is located at the front of each cerebral hemisphere and positioned anterior to (in front of) the parietal lobes and above and anterior to the temporal lobes. It is separated from the parietal lobe by the primary motor cortex, which controls voluntary movements of specific body parts associated with the precentral gyrus. 4

o It is a very important part of a complex cognitive processing system, and has many connections to different areas of the brain. It has a special role in planning and organizing different tasks like a "supervisor". Many aspects of everyday life are mainly controlled by the frontal lobe system. These would include:

1. decision-making and planning of new situations.2. error detection and correction and developing plans for trouble-shooting.3. technically difficult or new situations with demand for new solutions.4. resisting temptations and habitual responses.5. impulse control and dealing with frustrations.• http://web4health.info/en/answers/adhd-cause-frontal.

God says in the Holy Qur’an (Surah 96) :Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? (14) Let him beware! If he desist not, We will drag him by the forelock, (15) A lying, sinful forelock! (16)

Is there any significance in “dragging this sinner by his forelock?” Yes, there is ,because it is the part that enticed the sinner to commit sin, the part which is responsible for taking the decision to commit a sin… Since the Holy Qur’an is talking about “an evil man” it ascribes his evil deeds to this part of the brain. One might say, “but this part is responsible for good deeds, too”.That is true but here the Qur’an is talking about evil people, so He ascribes the evil deeds to this part of the brain.Even the Prophet (SWS) used to say in his prayer, “I seek protection with Thee (God), against everything whose “Nasya (which is the interlope in English)” is under Your control.

Explaining the Verse

When Keith Moore, a famous embryologist, presented his joint research with Dr Zandani, a famous Muslim Qur’an scientific expounder, he not only elaborated on the role of the frontal interlope in humans but he also elaborated on the frontal interlope in animals; he stated that the frontal interlope in animals plays the same role played in humans in guiding and controlling the behavior of animals. 8

Professor Zandani commented on Moore saying:These words brought to my mind the following verse: "There is not a moving creature, but He hath grasp of its forelock. (11:56) So the Holy Qur’an’s scientific statements regarding the role of the interlope in humans and animals are compatible with the scientific facts.Qur’an translators do not use scientific terms when they translate the Qur'anic verses, they just use the well-known words.

Professor Keith Moore comments on this scientific miracle in the Holy Qur’an saying:"Our knowledge about the brain was unknown to any one during human history; it is not there in any medicine book that dates back to the time of the Prophet and even in the following centuries. The frontal interlope had never been mentioned in any civilization. There isn’t any reference to it in ancient books except the Holy Qur’an, and this proves that this Holy Book must have been revealed from God to Muhammad (SWS), the Prophet of Islam."

ConclusionSince the Holy Qur’an is God's last word to humanity, it will remain forever like a fountain that overflows with miracles that match the mentality and culture of every age.In the time of the Prophet (SWS), the Holy Qur’an challenged the pagan Arabs to produce just one chapter or a few verses similar to the Qur’an but they could not, though they were the masters in the arts of the Arabic language and its figure of speech . The Holy Qur’an, unlike the other Holy Book which is replete with scientific errors, addresses people according to their cultural levels, gives them the solid evidence to its divine source and even undermines the so-called atheism.
