Wild plants grow in the wild. They grow in forests, jungles, or around your house. They do not need human care.

You can grow your own plants in a garden, and then eat them.

Those are cultivated plants.

Deciduous trees. Evergreen trees.

Deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn and winter

Evergreen trees, such as conifers, keep their leaves during all seasons.

Seeds

Other plants need help from butterflies, birds, bats or other animals to reproduce. It is called pollination.

As we have seen most plants reproduce by seeds. Other plants, however, reproduce by spores.

They are called non-flowering plants.
