In our professional education subjects, I always encounter the nature of learners as diverse individuals. It is said that every learner is unique in his own way and teachers must be sensitive enough on their variety. I never knew that responding to that is hard, I mean tremendously hard, until now. Let me share to you my first actual teaching experiences. It was Monday and the students just came back from Christmas and New Year vacation. Because of that, it was a challenge for me to awaken them so to remind them that vacation is done and they are now in school with a purpose to study and learn. To do that, I showed them that I am now ready to be their teacher. With a voice that reflects enthusiasm and posture that requires their full attention- I am Sir Bryan Nozaleda! I thought that was enough but it seemed not. I guess, the problem of every teacher is how to sustain the excitement of the students while in class. ( I’ve just said something about learning environment ) Speaking of class, I handled 5 different classes that day. Two of which are third year and the remaining are fourth year. Therefore, nice number of classes to prove the diversity of learners. In general, all my classes went fantastic. But I can say, each have different characteristics. Interestingly, I observed that the higher sections are more passive than the students who belong in the lower sections. How could that be? I haven’t expected that to happen. Well now, I know it does happen. Meanwhile, I appreciated the participations of my students. They were really good. They ask about our topic and that’s exactly what I want. They recite and they answer whenever I have questions. What more can I ask? Thanks I am here!

Interestingly, I

observed that the higher sections are more passive than the students who belong in the lower sections. How could that be? I haven’t expected that to happen. Well now, I know it does happen.

Meanwhile, I appreciated the participations of my students. They were really good. They ask about our topic and that’s exactly what I want. They recite and they answer whenever I have questions. What more can I ask? Thanks I

am here!

TCSHS,

undeniably, is one of the most promising schools in the region and that Tuguegaro City must be proud of it. If I’ll be asked, where can I find an ideal learning environment? Its in TCSHS. The number of students in a class are maintained to commit to the goal of quality education. The clasrooms are well ventilated and lighted. In short every classroom is conducive for learning.

Moreover, TCSHS also advocates the use of Technology in the teaching and learning process. Devices that presents multimedia are present. Televisions are always ready and their e-library are open for students to do their researchers. They have a library that contains good books

that can really supplement students’ learnings. This is what I call, 21st century education in its real sense.

Physical Learning environment? - No problem. But for the environment within the environment? - That’s the

challenge. The diversity of learners is just one and I should expect more to come.
