But they also knew that one day would do thesame trip again, because of the sun. Then theywill go up to the sky again to create new clouds!

THE JOURNEY OF WATER

Once upon a time there were two small water droplets. One was named Lucilla and the other Corallina and they lived in the sea , along with lots of drops , all united and in harmony with each other . One morning , the sun's heat was so intense that , Lucilla Corallina with many of their friends , slowly began to rise to the top , evaporating more and more on , up to the sky . Together , they formed a fluffy white cloud .

The cloud hovered in the sky for a long time and the all close droplets were serene and blissful. But there came a spiteful wind that brought the cloud here and there, farther and farther away . And the wind grew cold : the cloud, then collided with another gray big cloud . The collision was so strong , that the droplets began to fall down in the form of rain.

Lucilla was very frightened , as well as cold. But , when it fell on a huge green lawn full of flowers, it realized that there it might have been useful and happy. Together with the other raindrops, they watered the flowers colorful and fragrant , making them grow even more beautiful .

Then it fell to earth , dropping very deep. From the slopes , the drop Lucilla continued his journey , slowly and slowly . He met earth’s grains, insects, worms and small stones until, after many days, it found itself in the sea!

However, Corallina was still a little on the cloud , but when the wind grew cold , it fell like a snowflake in the high mountain and flowed into a spring and then it slid into a creek, thence in a lake and then into a long river. Along the river, Corallina continued to flow for days , until it had a wonderful surprise : it got to the sea , the great sea from where it had left , which made it happy with a wonderful, tender hug.

With its immense happiness , there it also found her friend Lucilla. The journey of the two drops of water had come to an end, but it would soon be started over , because the water cycle never ends.

A Little Drop Water is sitting on a cloud and looking at the world under. She wants to swim in the river and listen to birds singing.

Suddenly the cloud she was sitting on is becoming heavier and heavier. The weather is changing and the Little Drop is falling down on the ground with rain. She goes straight into the river.

Now she’s playing in the river with stones and her sisters - drops. And the river is becoming wider and wider. Finally the river joins with the sea.

In the sea the Little Drop Water has much more fun. She is jumping on the waves and surfing with the wind. But she misses the view of the world seen from the cloud.

Suddenly she notices that she is really light and she is going up and up to the sky. She can see the world and admire its beauty again.

But the world down has changed. It is not as colourful as it was before. Everywhere is grey and brown and cold wind is blowing. The Little Drop has changed, too. She is not a drop anymore. Now she is a flake which is slowly falling down with other flakes-drops covering the world with the white snow.

The Journey of Water

One rainy spring morning a playful water drop stopped at my window.

What are you doing here, little drop?

I'm here to tell you my story.

The drop began to recount her wonderful story.

I emerged from the water of lakes, rivers, seas and oceans in the form of a light water

vapor and went up high, led by air currents.

Above all we gather together in the form of fluffy clouds, drift over the mountains, hills and plains.

We fall in smaller or larger drops on earth to give life to plants and animals.

The earth allows us then to go into depths where there is the water drops realm. We go back to the surface as a trickle of water. Small springs carry us to the rivers, lakes, seas or oceans.

Here the warm rays of the sun comfort us and make us an invisible vapor.

This is my story, but it is the story of all the water drops.
