• The availability of medication over the Internet presents a vexing and complex challenge to state and federal agencies charged with enforcing drug laws.

• This problem has recently led to the Commerce Committee of the U.S. House hold hearings on the subject in an effort to understand what is involved with this new type of medicine.

• These are just two examples of an illegal Internet pharmacies distributing drugs such as Ritalin, Xanax, Vicodin, and other highly addictive drugs.

• In 2009, the FDA issued a warning to these firms that their search engine ads violated laws that required them to clearly State the risks of drugs they are marketing.

• The main attraction of online drug sites is price. such as Canada, the United Kingdom, and European countries, as well as India and Mexico.
