Machu Picchu is a city of ancient America, located in present-day Peru 2450 meters above sea level. The city became the New Wonder of the World. Machu Picchu is also often called “the city in the sky”, “the city in the clouds" or “the lost city of the Incas “.

Interesting facts about the Incas

The ancient Incas saw the stars in the sky and gave the names to constellations. They also gave the names to black spots in the Milky Way such as Lama, Lama calf, Partridge, Toad, Snake, Fox and etc.
