THE PARLIAMENT
The european parliament is the only institution to be elected from european people and the elections are held every 5 years.The parliament is composed by 785 people, from all european states. the parliament is based in Strasbourg, in Bruxelles and Lussembourg
The Parliament has got three principal function:
• it approves the european laws
• it can approves or reject the members of all european instituctions
• the budget power: it can changes EU’s expense
THE EUROPEAN COUNCIL
It divides in nine configurations: General Affairs and External Relations
Economical and financial affairs
Giustice and internal affairs
Employment protection and health of people
Business Competition
°Telecommunications, transport and energy
Fishing and agricolture
°Environmental protection
°istruction and culture
THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION
The European Commission represents the European Union in the world and it has the executive power;it is based on Bruxelles. It can propose new laws to the Parliament.

THE COURT OF AUDITORS
THE COURT OF JUSTICEIt ensures the application of the laws and settles disputes between states, it is composed of 27 judges and is based in Luxembourg
EUROPEAN CENTRAL BANKThe European Central Bank defines the value of the euro and is headquartered in Frankfurt.
