HistoryEgypt began in 3.000B.C. with the invention

of writing. In the ancient world was one of the most important civilizations. It was located next to the river Nile and its kings, called pharaohs, built great monuments like the pyramids.They believe in many gods and goddesses.

Gods and goddessesRa: is the god of the sun.Anubis: is associated with funerals and

mummies.Isis: is the guardian and goddesses of the

magic.Osiris: is the god deader of vegetation and

the ruler of the underworld.Hathor: is the goddesses of love and fertility.Amun: is the god of the wind.Thoth:is the god of wisdom and learning.Horus:is know as the protector of kings.Seth:is associent with desert and storms.Neith:is the goddess of war and the hunting.

Ancient Texts The Egyptian’s writing was hieroglyphics.And

to write they use papyrus. This hieroglyphics decorated the walls of pharao’s tombs.They were instructions to guide dead kings through the underworld and gain immortality.

Art and architecture

The egyptians construct sculptures for the pharaoh’s tombs, temples and palace.The egyptians artist painted in papyrus.The most comm0n egyptians sculpture is the esfinge.
