Different Intellectual Traits
Intellectual Integrity- you hold yourself to
the same rigorous standards of thinking and behavior to which
you hold others.
Effect- If you are honest and truthful
with other people, they might like you always and you might
become their reliable friend which can say and do anything
just for veracity and uprightness.
Intellectual Fair-mindedness
- You strive to treat every viewpoint in an unbiased way without
reference to your own vested interests.
Effect- No one would say that you
are “man with two faces”. Because you equally accept or hear every
suggestions and opinions of people around you.
Intellectual Courage
- You dare to question and challenge popular or long-held beliefs in
the face of new information or
evidence.
Effect- You are a man who stand on
verified and truth principle. Courageous in his own way
that despite of the rejections of other (in your principle),
you still stand on it.
-You rely on the critical thinking
process and trust its results.
Confidence in Reasoning
Effect
- You know how to voice-out your own feelings for the
sake of veracity, reliability, and uprightness of yours.
Intellectual Perseverance
-You continue to face the confusion,
frustration and uncertainty to gain
understanding.
Effect- I can! rather than I can’t!
You are a positively intractable man that face uncertainties for the sake of INFOs or knowledge.
- You acknowledge your biases and the limits of your
knowledge.
Intellectual Humility
Effect- You accept that you’re not an
all-knowing person. Its not bad to share what you know,
and it doesn’t mean that sharing what you know makes
you become all-knowing.
- You independently think through questions and
problems.
Intellectual Autonomy
Effect- You are thinking by yourself. You have self-
esteem that you can use to answer questions without any confusions. Because
that’s what you think.
- You consider others’ perspectives in order to accurately
reconstruct their viewpoints.
Intellectual Empathy
Effect
- You are accepting and considering other’s
opinion that might lead you to the best decisions.
