THE 1st VOYAGE OF COLUMBUS

After two months, they landed on a Caribbean island: San Salvador.

On 3rd August 1492, Columbus and his crew left the

Port of Palos.

Christopher Columbus wanted to find a new trade route to

India. In January 1493, Columbus began

the return voyage.

He went to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand and they gave him a ship and two caravels.
