THE BROTHERS GRIMM (2005)

The story line is based on two brother named Will and Jake Grimm. They are both con artists who end up being in an actual fairytale curse, which encouraged the brothers to be courages instead of them typically using a

facade.

MATCH ON ACTION• A match on action is used when Will Grimm was trying to

rescue his brother from the queen by climbing through a window. The camera showed Will climbing in through the window then cuts to him being inside the tower through the window.

180 DEGREE RULE• The 180 degree rule was used when Jake Grimm was looking

into the mirror and the queen was beside him, seducing him. The spectators know that it is an 180 degree rule because the camera stayed on one line and there was two characters in one scene.

SHOT REVERSE SHOT• A shot reverse shot is typically used when two characters

are having a conversation and the camera is cutting between each character. Shot reverse shot was used in The Brothers Grimm when Jake Grimm gave Angelika a kiss that awoke her.
