Inspiration, an idea is born

The challenge: find new ways to draw teens to the library during the summer

Developing a theme

Use the annual Collaborative Summer Library Program theme as a starting point

• 2015 Superheroes stories often told in comic book or graphic novel style have teens create a collection of graphic short stories

• 2016 Sports SRP benefactor request a non fiction project have teens create a sports almanac for the region – modification, limit

the book to one sport• 2017 Building our area is filled with historic structures

have teens create a coloring book for advanced colorists or an illustrated book of local buildings
