Text to text is a very easy tool that helps readers comprehend what a story or a passage is about.

While reading a story, people are reminded of other stories, and that help them comprehend what they are reading. It also helps them enjoy the book better because they are making deeper connections as they read.

IT’S EASY!!!!

1.Pick a book you like

1.When you see something in the book, does it remind you of another book you have read before?

1.Take a moment and think about the other book and why your first book reminds of you of that other book

1.When the book is over, see if you enjoyed it more because you made a text to text connection.
