“Our hard work is finally starting to pay off, but we’re not gonna stop here” Ever since their big break in 2014 with their number 1 single “Deadliest Catch” the girls just haven’t stopped. The announcement of their UK headline tour in 2016 and the release of their huge debut album has guaranteed this charming duo’s success for many years to come. Even on a gloomy looking Saturday afternoon in a dingy Hoxton bar, Sian Thomas and Zoë Leeder still manage to liven the mood with their infectious laughs and persistent smiles. It all started back in 2011 when they first began writing songs. “We were just having a bit of fun when we realised that we were actually pretty good!” They spent months rehearsing and writing music before they played their first local gig back in their quiet hometown. Their journey started off slowly, with just a few small gigs here and there - but they never dwindled. “We once played a show to less than 20 people, it was just embarrassing”. But this didn’t stop them. In fact it was the opposite; it inspired them to persist. Fast forward to 2014 and the girls have been signed by Domino Recording Company, released their debut album and announced a headline tour. “It feels so right, it’s like all our hard work is finally paying off and the result is so rewarding” Even though they are both having the time of their life, they show no signs of slowing down. “We’re never gonna stop, we’re always going to work hard to be the best we can be; it’s just the way we are”. It’s easy to tell from the passion that lights up in their faces when they speak about their music that these two are guaranteed to be around for a long time. This really is just the beginning for Sian and Zoë.
