The Teresian Association in the United States has members
working at all levels of education, from elementary school to
higher education, administration, and informal education.
Members can be found also in different professional areas, such
as health care, social work, and publishing.

ThePoveda Education Projectprovides adult education in Cicero,
a heavily Hispanic suburb of Chicago offering support in the areas
of:
Basic Literacy
Preparation for GED
English as a Second Language.
The PEP works with volunteers who are members or friends of the
Teresian Association and it invites the participation of students
who have already received their certificate to be leaders in their
own community.
The Socio-Educative Movement (SEM),a movement of teachers and
educators at all levels who seek to network and support each other
in their areas of work through community building, sharing
resources, training and formation. The thrust of the project is to
bring to education humanistic and Christian values and to support
professional educators in their difficult task in todays society.

interested in creating small communities of support.
Creating awareness of the need for education in the Latino
community.
Continuing its efforts to advocate for and strengthen the
support for formation and continuing education.
