Open Morae Manager

Create New Project

• So we can combine participants

• Name project and save in SAME FOLDER

as everything else

Add files

• All files you have from recorder and

observer in your file

1) Analyze > Interface

You can review your videos, take notes, add markers,

and etc.

Time bar • Zoom in and zoom out, change playing speed, and select

start or end • Create and edit markers, tasks, and movie clips here

Add marker • Select a point on the time bar click the “Log Marker”

choose type, add notes, put your name, etc. • Edit marker definitions: “Edit - Marker Definition”

Create task • Select starting & end point click the “Log Task”

You can review your videos, take notes, add markers,

Create movie clip • Select starting & end point click the “Movie Clip”

Create image clip • Select a point on the time bar click the “Create Image”

View Survey answers • “View – Survey Results”

Search data • Search across all or select recording sessions in a study for

data • View mode: “List View”, “Chart View”

Create graphs depending on your data.

Graph template • For frequently used analysis, just click and customize yours

Create graphs • Click “Create New Graph”

Pick analysis type depending on data (2 steps) Graph by Participant / by Task is available Pick a metric

Edit graphs • Graph preview • Control “Graph Properties” • Edit graph type, metric, axis, design, etc.

Save & Export a graph (Don’t forget!) • Save graph and name appropriately • Export as images or Excel files

You can make video or image clips for your

presentation!

• Combine clips • Drag and drop videos/images/graphs from “Clip Bin” to

“Storyboard” • Make transitions between clips

• Create title clip • Right click on “Clip Bin” area

Click “Create Title Clip”

Define details

• Save and export • Right click on “Storyboard” area

Click “Highlight Video” to save storyboard and export Produce to PowerPoint of file

• ALWAYS the same folder
