Technology Needs Persons Responsible Professional Development
All teachers will be proficient in the use of Promethean Boards
Administrators, trained teachers, and all other teachers and staff.
Teachers will participate in two “Technology Camps” to learn how to use the Promethean Boards. Teachers will receive a stipend.
Familiarize all teachers with the Technology TEKS that students must be able to master by 8th grade.

Spend a half a professional development day having teachers look over the Technology TEKS and come up with two lesson plans they can incorporate into their classrooms.
Use of blogs for communications with parents, staff, and community stakeholders.

Training will take place over three faculty meetings sessions. On the first meeting I will introduce blogs and they will watch the tutorial. At the second meeting they will learn how to make posts and add files. The third meeting will consist of the staff creating their own blogs in order to practice.
