homework, or respond to

questions.

Teachers had a few

computers in the

classroom to supplement

instruction.

Teachers are using Activ

boards, document

cameras, and laptops to

enhance learning.

I’ve been teaching the same all these years, why change now?

Its too hard. I don’t have time to learn all the new programs.

Technology is too expensive. We shouldspend money on more important things.

Children have to learn to pass the state test.

I don’t have all the latest equipment in my classroom.

These devices provide children with instant access to the internet and all that comes with it. It is our responsibility to teach them to do so safely and be informed.

Budget cutbacks hold a great number of campuses back from going forward with technology. One way around this is writing grants for technology.
