Background of Nanosilver
Nano technology is a rapidly growing science of producing and utilizing nano-sized particles that measure in nanometers (1 nm = 1 billionth of a metre). One of nano materials which have an early impact on healthcare products is nanosilver.
Silver has been used for the treatment of medical ailments for over 100 years due to its natural antibacterial and anti fungal properties. Nanopac nanosilver particles typically measure less than 10nm. They have extremely large relative surface area, which increases their contact with bacteria, virus or fungi, and vastly improves its bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal effects.
The nanosilver when in contact with bacteria, virus and fungus will adversely affect cellular metabolism and inhibit cell growth. The nanosilver inhibits multiplication and growth of bacteria and fungi which cause infection, odor, itchiness and sores.

●Testing Silver Against Anthrax: In 2001, the Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute, one of the largest commercial laboratories in the United States, tested the efficiency of a 22 PPM nano silver product against anthrax spores. IIT reported that after six hours of exposure at body temperature (37 degrees celsius), the anthrax spores were 99% destroyed.
