• You can extract data (csv, xml) at any time for archiving or analysis

• Updates to the software are made across all instances – no need to download anything

Using targetOn

• You provided with a blank targetOn site or can use an existing template. As an administrator you can create a list of activities aligned to indicators & then link relevant resources. You can also do other things such as change the theme & upload logos to customise your site.

• Your users are then registered and can then use targetOn to prepare their own customised action plan. Reminders are sent to users when their actions are due.

• Users can upload individual property maps or plans to their account, upload monitoring information & share local information using the discuss feature.

• Scorecards show progress by each user & the community of practice in implementing activities. Administrators can add & edit user information, add news & events & email users about updates & achievements.

• Only the user and administrators can see their data and edit it.• Data is backed up regularly or administrators can download data

for archiving or for importing into other software packages for analysis e.g. geographic information system (GIS)
