Target Audience

Gender: Predominantly male as there will be action featured and the war genre usually attracts more men than women. Age: The rating on my film will be 15 plus as it will contain injury, mental health struggles and hardship of SAS life.Job: I am not aiming my film at people of a particular occupation or income as I think the war genre appeals to men in general regardless of their job. However, soldiers or people with history working in the army may enjoy the film. Interests: I am aiming my film at people who are interested in British history and in particular the SAS as it will be one of the focuses of the film. Also, people who are interested in the reality of life in combat and the effects it (and disability) has on people in the long run. Hobbies: People who are interested in fitness and endurance would be most likely to be attracted to my film as it will feature the secretive brutal training faced by the SAS soldiers. However, people that enjoy reading books about the force would also potentially be interested in the film.Favourite films: I think my film will appeal to people who enjoy the war genre/ action films such as ‘Fury’. But people who like more emotional war films like ‘Saving Private Ryan’ may enjoy it because of the struggle the main character faces with his mentality.
