How can I develop india??

• Vote - A large majority of India's urban youth are disillusioned with politics and don't vote. If you want a change, be the harbinger of that change. Don't just sit at home and complain.

• Read the newspaper (a real one, the Hindu maybe). Keep abreast with the news, know what is happening in your country and have an opinion about it.

• Stop watching only cricket and try out something else. There arethousands of athletes out there in India playing their hearts out hoping someone would sit up and take notice.

• Stop taking things for granted. You deserve better from the government you voted to power. It is your duty to point out the things you want changed.

• Don't pay bribes. Next time somebody asks you for a bribe don't pay it, however much inconvenience it is going to cause.

• Switch off all electrical appliances before you leave the house.

• Control your road rage. Don't honk too much on the roads.• Let your kids choose their lives, careers and life partners. You don't own

them. They know their dreams and aspirations better than you.• Tolerate all religions. Stop believing in the caste system.• Spend more money. Go on more holidays. You will be a happier person

and you will help the economy grow.• Do something physical. Indians are notorious for being inactive. Go out,

play, jump off an airplane, scuba dive. But do something.• Stop peeing anywhere and everywhere. The next generation is watching

and learning.• Pay your taxes on time. Help the government to help you.• Teach the less privileged. Join an NGO that teaches kids, elders or

anybody without access to schools. That is much more beneficial than dropping money into a charity box to satisfy your conscience.

• Keep your roads clean, dispose your garbage properly, stop spitting on the roads

Eradicate corruption

• Spend a few million rupees to design a very good website that has *all* the government forms used in all the government departments. The site has to be so intuitive that filling government forms should be a very simple and straightforward process. Make it very easy to get this accessible on mobile. If you do this well, you can eliminate the army of bribe seekers outside the government offices.

• Create videos and test materials to enable a prospective driver to learn the road rules in a simple, fun way. Every type of education can be made fun. Let them learn the rules, and the pass the test for *FREE* (without paying a bribe). Which Indian would not love things for free?

• Use analytics tools to analyze what the market prices of homes are. Most of the real estate black money involves understating the sale price. Once you build a strong analytics tool, it will be hard to understate price and save the tax. Same for sales tax and others. Share this data openly on the government website.

Once you achiever that everything else follows - smart cities, bullet trains, no need for welfare schemes, toilets for all, jobs for all, make in India, Madison Square Garden - they are all connected and are all different ways of saying the same thing - we want to be the US of A! By 2019? That is called wishful thinking. Three more generations? That would be a reasonable target.
