There are four main action planning areas: Effective Teaching & Learning Educator Proficiency Access to Information & Technology Resources Support Systems & Leadership (we will be working

on this one today)

Effective Teaching & Learning Practices Focus is on getting all students technologically

proficient by the end of eighth grade Digital Concepts Course

Educator Proficiency Provide ongoing dedicated time for vertical and

horizontal planning meetings to work on technology integration and curriculum work

Provide basic literacy courses for teachers who still need this

Identified what teachers need to know and be able to do

Time during Summer Academy, District Inservice time, voluntary offerings before and after school, Informal/coaching mentoring embedded in school day or regularly scheduled meetings

Access to Information & Technology Resources Wireless Initiative 1-to-1 Initiative Improve Access to Technology Resources Continue to Expand SMART Board Initiative Provide Distance Learning Options for Students Provide Adequate Tech Support Cyber Security
