Early Second Language Learning

A child who learns a second language doesn't just expand his vocabulary; he gains a greater understanding of other cultures, traditions and people. Research has shown that the optimal time for learning a new language ends at puberty.

This makes the elementary and pre-school years a rich and very brief window of opportunity to learn a different language easily.

The best way for a young child to learn a second language is by reading books that are in both the language they know and the language they are learning.

Its never to late to start, but the earlier the start the better.
