• Long shot - Camera pans, following a car which stops outside the police station. An officer gets out of the car and enters the building. Score music could be playing in the background and diagetic sound of the car engine and door opening/closing.

• Close up of ‘Williams’ lay on the bed. The shot will zoom and become an extreme close up. No diagetic sound from this scene as it is going to be a flash back. This shot will end fading to black. We will apply a sepia or black and white effect to the flash back parts.

• Extreme close up of ‘Williams’ hand – will fade in from black. – No diagetic sound. There will be a glass that is tipped up to hint that something is wrong. – Part of a flash back.

• High angle mid shot of ‘Williams’ Lying on the bed. This shot will portray vulnerability. – Part of a flash back. Shot will fade to black.

• Mid shot of police officers working on the case in the station. The police scene will fade in from white and will be in normal colour. It will be in present time in the film. One officer is stood and one officer is sat down. The incidental score music will fade and there will be diagetic sound (of the officers talking in the shot.)

• Another mid shot in the police room. The officer sat down will join the officer standing up at the investigation board which will have photographs of the crime scene as long as other investigation information.

• There will be a flash (fade to white) to show that the next part of the sequence is a flash back. A long shot of ‘Williams’ walking down the street (flash back) will fade in from the white. – Sepia/black white effect will be added. There will be no diagetic sound, just incidental score.

• Cut to a canted angle long shot of ‘Williams’ entering through a gate. There will be both incidental score music AND diagetic sound of the gate latch opening.

• Cut to a long shot showing ‘Williams’ walking to the door. the score music will be playing, as well as diagetic sound of the footsteps and other ambience.

• Cut to an over shoulder mid shot showing ‘Williams’ inserting the key and opening the door. We will use the diagetic sound of the key in the door.

• There will be a flash to white again. Incidental score music will fade. A over shoulder mid shot of the officers talking at the investigation board will fade in from the white. There will be diagetic sound of the officers talking.

• There will be a flash to white. There will then be a mid shot of ‘Williams’ entering the door from the other side. – a black white or sepia effect will be used to symbolise a flash back. There will be diagetic sound of shutting the door.

• Cut to a close up of ‘Williams’ walking up the stars (only showing legs). There will be just incidental music here.

• Flash to white, and then cut to a shot reverse shot mid shot of officers having a conversation about key evidence in their investigation. The score music will continue in the background. The diagetic sound from the shot (of the officers talking) – will be louder than the score/incidental music.

• Reverse of previous description (second part of the shot reverse shot)

• Cut to a close up of the investigation board over the officers shoulders. There will be diagetic sound of the officers talking. There will be score/incidental music playing quietly in the background.

• Flash to white. Long shot of ‘Williams’ at the top of the stairs just entering her bed room. The score/incidental music will be playing. There will be diagetic sound (a loud bang or noise of something/one behind her.)

• Continued from the previous shot, - this is a mid shot from the other side of the bed room door. ‘Williams’ will quickly turn around to see what is there when she hears the sound. We will use a slow motion effect on her at this point.

• Story boards 2 and 3 again - this time in colour. Just incidental score music will be playing. Titles and other credits can happen over these repeated shots. The reason of the repeated shots in colour will be; in the previous flash backs, it will be an introduction to the audience and a police summary / guess of what happened. When the colour shots are shown, it will be what actually happened. In the rest of our film we would slowly fill in the gaps showing the full story of how and why she was killed.
